The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Good afternoon maggots and you to GD7. Let's not be too hasty in our condemnations (that's a big word for me lol) of Rita cos it's only five weeks since she last posted a RNS. Although I agree she has, in the past, been more forthcoming with her RNS's.
Morning maggots.Hi Robsky, I thought you were going to the Galopagas Islands or some similar place, for a bit of sunshine? For my sins I am going to Gods country by way of Argyll on Saturday. I will be thinking of you all when I am building my igloo. ha ha .
This shows confidence :- Notwithstanding these improvements, the Directors continue to seek to preserve the Group's cash resources, in preparation for the grant of the mining licence in Togo. Overhead costs have been reduced to minimum levels, and each of the Directors has reduced his remuneration by at least 50%. The total being paid to the three directors is currently at a rate of 39,000 per annum, compared with total directors remuneration in the year under review of 214,000 and in the previous year 438,000.
Hi Robsky, for your info., my family have rented a cottage in Acharacle, Argyll for a the last week in March. Should we take our snow ski's with us or just the survival packs lol ;-))
GD7............ .oh.....you are awful, but I like you .........:-)))
Morning maggots. At this rate I will soon be crying. lol :-((

Having read this, are you thinking what I'm thinking? Morning Andee, you took the words right out of my mouth. :-))
Invested by DR. for his wife. What does that tell us. Read the attachment in Schoolboy's post and have a big grin on your face whilst devouring your bacon sarni. :-))
Morning maggots. leftie,we still await the operations update which is now overdue. This should give us a better picture of Maggie with more detail of where we are heading. :-))
I see someone has had a large top up. lol
jange, I haven't had my usual large gin and tonic yet so can't offer any reasons for the glitch. lol
Last post.......all the words are there but in the wrong order.....lol
Well done, keep ladies it up and hopefully I may (LOL) get a return for my initial investment. It looks like using a sewing machine is more lucrative than looking for gold. :-))
Good morning maggots, Poacher, like you I have been here since the listing of MAGP and have watched my investment go down and together with a couple more, one went bankrupt and others went slowly down the pan. I will hold until either MAGP goes bankrupt or a miracle happens and I get a return for my investment. We are expecting a RNS any time now (it is overdue) and I hope this will spell out exactly where we stand and where we are heading. Rita has been prompt in the past with her reports and I have fingers crossed that her next RNS will blow my socks off.
Your post is recommended. It's a pity that Rita is being economical with her posts, however we are due a report at any time and I hope it will give us many answers as to our present position and ultimate goals. :-))
thanks GD7 straight-forward really if you have a 'Doctorate in Oils and Gasses. :-))
Morning maggots. Anyone have any idea how many BOPD we are pumping out of the ground? With the price of oil still rising it must be doing our bank balance some good. :-))
Having recently received the first US$500,000 tranche of the WED Agreement, we are currently deploying these funds into new leases and wells which, as well as generating fees for Mget itagnolia, will also provide us with a free carry on the first wells drilled. As a result, I am confident that going forward the value of our PDP reserves will rise significantly, and I look forward to providing updates on our progress. Anyone have a problem with this statement? After the fiasco with the Worlds oil supplies and crazy prices I consider that MAGP has now got its act together. Rita and Co. against all the odds put by SOS and NTOG are now giving me some confidence and although I expect that the 'end of the tunnel' is still many moons away I am a lot happier than I was twelve months ago. I await the next operations report and suggest that it will give us some 'cheer'. That's my take on it, forever the guy who's glass is half full. Iv'e waited five years so far and a little longer won't hurt. DYOR.
