That's completely wrong,the capacitors are being designed into semiconductor manufacturing machines. These machines costs millions of dollars and are made in quantities of 10-100's per year.

Now it's being modified/refined to integrate CIC/CIX before the stage that carbonate/sulphate is produced.

Feeding the MREC/MRES into separation (i.e. following the traditiona mrec/solvent process ) results in too many impurities. This could be purified with another CIX stage but there is a opex cost.

So RBW are integrating the extraction process earlier -just after leech. This is how the process can be built into the phosphoric acid plants they are in discussion with.

The details of all this are secret, applying it to mining is a whole different ball game.
