Had a thought this morning. Does anybody think it is possible that Tony was wary of offering shareholders to take part in the recent raises for fear of a backlash after the 4p offering debacle?
Did he think there wouldn’t be the appetite from shareholders? On the other hand did he just think I’ve screwed the shareholders enough lately and the price is now right for my chums to get in?
It does feel like a one step forward , three steps back company. Like I said earlier, it’s showing signs of going down the Sirius road to oblivion. Instead of looking forward to connection to the grid, I’m now thinking connection to the grid is the end of Tlou with a paltry buyout by the “sophisticated investors” it won’t be the BOPF or BPC that get shafted, they’ll obviously have to keep them onside, but the PI’s? Burnt toast springs to mind. Just remember, it’s AIM. Absolutely ANYTHING is possible.
Winn.
lol When I do that it’s usually cos the meds are kicking in.
I would not be at all surprised now, that when the first electricity is generated the sophisticated investor puts a ridiculously low bid to buy Tlou outright with the threat if it’s not approved the company will go under. They get the company on the cheap after only 18 months of investment and the Pi’s, AS ALWAYS, get shafted. Tell me it isn’t so Tony.
Noba.
Are you commentating on a different share or are you taking the same meds as me?
“Onwards and upwards?” It’s going down. lol
This just smacks of letting an inner circle feed on cheap shares at the expense of not only share holders but the Botswana pension fund. What exactly is a “sophisticated investor?” Does the BOD mean the Doc’s asked for more shares for a mate of a mate but are to ashamed to tell the us who it is? They need to reveal who this sophisticated investor is now.
This is going to get very toxic very quickly if the BOD carry on like this and I now genuinely fear for the future that the Doc is not our saviour but it’s more of a devious takeover plan. The shareholders that have stuck with you through the roughest of times Tony and now all you’re doing is pi55ing all over them as their reward. At least we now know why the SP has been suppressed at 2p for so long.
I can honestly say I’ve changed my forecast of cashing out my 1,250,000 shares at 20p. It is now my break even point of 3p. It's obvious to me now that the ordinary share holder is of no interest to the BOD and will probably get sold down the river Just like Sirius.
Last thing we need Winn is to end up like 88e another 5 years down the line with 20,180 million shares in issue.
I’ve only been here for 4 years and why didn’t I sell at 9p with a 50% profit at the time? But hopefully the old saying is going to come true this year, “all’s well that ends well.”
My guess is 10-13p by end of the year and that is based on my meds have just kicked in. : )
I thought the SP was supposed to go up when drilling about to start or actually started?
I got out I think about mid February because the SP was stagnant which, for me, is unusual with the drill date so close, so indicated a lack of confidence in the drill. Doesn’t the SP normally rise sharply in the run up to the spud date? Yet this has dropped.
Any explanations? Not a deramp. A bit late for that as SP already down.
Cheers Winn.
Early May then and then just waiting for the RNS about the gas. Fingers crossed.
Because Tlou have something to bang them about now Winn. I think it’s just gonna get banged a lot more frequently from now on. Next year we’ll have built up to “ramming speed”on the drums as they used to say in the old Trireme war ships.
Brad.
If it helps get the gas flowing I’ll drink it if he wants lol
npwharf.
Do you know of the timescale for the drilling of L6? Would be great if get a positive announcement in mid to late July? Like you said though, let's take it a RNS at a time and not order the £10,000 jacuzzi just yet lol

I’m just thinking about Tony saying once the connection to the grid is complete then we go for rapid expansion and get to the point where Botswana can export the excess electricity being produced. If we think 2023 is going to be good (touch wood) what’s 2024/2025 gonna be like?
If Tony can keep going at this pace and funding comes from the Botswana Pension Fund and hopefully give the shareholders a piece of the cake, the possibilities and potential are mind boggling.
Winn.
Think it is a case of “watch this space.” I’m actually starting to look forward to the next couple of years and beyond.
I forgot to mention. If it’s producing electricity to the grid then hasn’t the timeline been brought forward as they said the substations won’t be installed by early 2024? So that’s a good thing if it is going into the grid. Here’s hoping.
Winn.
Watched the link you posted yesterday. Tony looked quite relaxed in the presentation, usually a good sign from a CEO that everything is finally progressing well. I’m not sure if I heard it right from Tony but I’m sure Tony said they should be producing electricity by the end of the year. I’m gonna have to watch it again because I’m not sure if he meant connected to the grid type producing electricity or just producing electricity awaiting the substation installations and connection. Good link though Winn.
Nice one Brad. Good link.
When I read this BB it makes me realise sometimes how little I know about financials and how lucky I’ve been not have lost all my money. I’m hoping this baby is gonna make us all a few bob in the near future.
Fingers crossed long may it continue. I had a thought after reading the RNS that imagine where we’d be if it was like this 5 years ago? We might have even been getting a small divi now. lol

That could get messy in any future negations on power purchase agreements, don’t you think?
If the BPC don’t like the price Tlou want for supplying the power they can just say “lower the price or your not using OUR power lines.” Is there any contract in place that can stop them doing this? I don’t know how it works so I’m probably talking out my arsh. Brad will probably have his head in his hands right now saying “why me, why me Lord? lol
Does anybody else get the feeling the SP is being manipulated to keep it suppressed? 2 trades this morning for under £10. It cost them more than that to execute the order so it’s not like they need the money. It’s the same in another stock I’m watching. It’s all double digit sells that cost more to process than they gain.
Brad? I hope your patience is rewarded, as with all LTH, very handsomely and you and the rest of us get to enjoy the fruits of Tlou.
C’MON TG, or all us older shareholders will be sucking soup through a straw before long. just thinking, better not make it vegetable soup or the carrots will block the end of the straw. lol
sitiain.
Look at it this way. If they thought there was no commercial gas reserves/flows, would they be spending those millions of dollars on wire-lining and sub stations and accommodation and drilling new wells?
