..at close today to anyone still holding, if their broker will not allow trading on Malaysian listing (or otherwise). Will shares just be closed out at today's closing price? Apologies for my ignorance I'm unable to call iii to confirm, so wondering if anyone here knows the answer? Much appreciated
When these are delisted from Aim what exactly will happen to anyone still holding? (like me, currently still holding via a nominee account). Will these just get sold out at whatever the closing price is at that time? Or - will they be transferred over to the new exchange (in Malaysia?). Does anyone know? Advice much appreciated..I'm very confused!!
Advice appreciated I hold these via motelyfoolsharedealing (interactive investor). I have a corporate action note in my account NOT giving me the option to reject the delisting? Anyone else in this position? I see that Hargreaves Lansdown are giving holders the option to reject the delisting. How do holders ensure they can vote? Do we just print off proxy vote as Double Headed Coin suggests previously - apologies for being so dumb I've never been in such a position before.. (Furious as I was in profit last week..) Have sent request to interactive investor and also to: market.abuse@fca.org.uk (although fully expecting the fca to do sweet f##k all, as seems to be their purpose)
.. agencies to be more transparent.. http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/cd98d3ba-0c7b-11e6-9456-444ab5211a2f.html#axzz4771JQWnf "The Incorporated Society of British Advertisers, a trade body whose members spend about £10bn a year on marketing communications, warned that media agencies have increasingly been generating profits through controversial business practices that are not visible to their clients." ... “We’re at a tipping point, we’ve got to do something,” said Debbie Morrison, a director at ISBA. “I don’t believe that [the media agencies] have got the best interests of their clients at heart any more.” ..if blnx can 'connect the dots' and promote their 'brand safe' advertising platform, then maybe we'll bounce off this ridiculous sp. Personally, regardless of whether that will be done I think BM has to go, simply for total lack of communication - or false communication when he does bother to communicate. If Tosca do opt to put in a special resolution to put one of theirs in place they'll get my vote.
Shroder, What makes you think the FCA are doing anything at all? I contacted them several times around the time that we got attacked by Ben E and his hedge fund friends? My overall impression was, they did sweet FA. Aside from that, I am holding a touch below 100k shares here and so if I can assist you with anything, just let me know? All the best!
sorry, if that link doesn't work, here's another one: http://botcrawl.com/announcing-the-acceptable-ads-program-for-the-adblock-extension/
.. I've just seen this pop up whilst using chrome: "For years I have wanted to help make it easy for you to see useful ads and block annoying ones. I am excited to tell you that it's finally happening. AdBlock is now participating in the Acceptable Ads program.." full link here: chrome-extension://gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom/pages/acceptable-ads-announcement.html#
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/2954838/British-business-people-The-top-1000-Hedge-funds-private-equity-and-fund-management.html Blnx was shorted almost to dust by tiger. By strange coincidence Blnx is now being heavily bought by tosca. The article above shows the connection between the 2..
..I do think blnx is setting itself up for a nasdaq listing: change of branding, quarterly updates, agm (probably) moving outside of Uk next year (due to Uk offices closing/reducing) & board of directors based in the US.. So question is, could they not dual-list at first?
I didn't see the Sunday Times article you mentioned, but I did see ML at a Telegraph business event last year... where he said he'd like to build companies to a valuation of £1 billion (+).. and then list them on Nasdaq.. Blnx has been at that price in the past of course (although v painfully a long time ago), so has his intention always been to do this with blnx?.. ..Separately, but slightly related, ML successfully burned shorters when he sold au. to hp - so it's not beyond reason that blnx might wish to (and will) do the same. Although it's not heavily shorted anymore it is still being shorted, it would be GREAT to burn JpMorgan at this point in time! So I'm cautiously optimistic that we have passed positively beyond the 'inflexion point' and will rns as such. Soon.
