Surely it has to start with securing domestic supplies, for tungsten the EU has a mine/s in Portugal that provide a fair amount, once that is deemed just for EU then the UK can only look to Cornwall for supplies.

Its about cornwall needing funds, but can deliver many, tin, copper, lithium. tungsten and others for the UK

Gordon, reread what i said, i never said you said anything, I was countering your inference, that SML will go down if tungsten goes down, whilst the 2 (SML and tungsten) have gone up at the same time and may have some relation, the driver behind the raise was the results, not the tungsten price.

So to be clear im not mistaken, just misunderstood by you, thank you for being the so needed board balancer, can you please be balanced about how you apply the balance of other posters comments, if balance is your aim then you are not very good at it and appear very one sided.

And whilst i partly agree with you about the influence posters on this board can have, there must be some level of effect as otherwise over the 20 or so years I have been investing countless people have been wasting their time and energy all along.

Gordon, you are mistaken in your comment.

SML has not risen due to the tungsten price going up, it has risen due to the drilling results, which found tungsten and copper and then later tin and silver. The price rise was a bonus given that most of the estimates are based on a very old (lower price). So a price drop in tungsten would unlikely effect the resource figures but it may have an effect on the SP.

ANYONE invested in AIM and specifically SML are used to price drops, being under water, some for longer than being up.

Why do you think China will loosen its grip on metals, specifically tungsten? with a new space race kicking off tungsten's best days are ahead of it and even if china did loosen its control the west will still want its own supplies, you can read in the USA's critical mineral documents that securing future supplies is no.1

Dont forget the tin/copper/silver also present. metals are rising in general, silver up 40% over the last year

Gordon, i dont get your perspective, "you're here to make money" but talk the share down sometimes subtly and sometimes not so subtly. Some of the things you say just dont add up in current climate. Also robotic mining equipment will have likely got a lot cheaper and better if it follows the changes in other autonomous technology.

I did say when the RNS came out, that it was a high recovery rate, but add to that the floatation that will remove even more prior to processing.

Exactly BS, when sentiment is right it could happen very quickly, a sprinkle of a JV/buyout and boom who knows. As tungsten is so important to defence I can't see china changing it's control on tungsten in the short to mid term.

Its a good RNS and for me the institutional investors not only care about where geographically this mine is but also how difficult is the ore to extract from host rock, this is considered market sensitive data and as such would have to be released as otherwise they could not have informed the II's of this over the next couple of days

Prop, my understanding is that they use processes similar to industry , its more about host material and the ability to extract from, its VERY good, and indicates the minerals SML have are in a good and easy to remove host

To me its important that the work so far shows that there very strong grades and that almost all of what is there is recoverable, great RNS
