The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I get it now. Sorted.
I just found it in the AGM result RNS. don't think I bought at 56p though ! Has it ever been 56p?
Just checked my share account and it shows in May share consolidation at 56p? What happened there? As May price was 9p. Can't find the RNS for it? Anyone shed any light on it?
SS hang your head in shame. Just leave the company will you please.

This share has burned many, me included. Will spike, then they dilute (again) and some other problems will crop up. As someone said before - lifestyle company for SS. I won't put another pence in here.
It won't go to the moon, or 10p or 50p or £1, it's a dreamers share. Good luck if your getting 15% rises, scalp it as much as possible, but be warned, it WILL drop, don't become a LTH, day trade this pile of crap for any gains. Best of luck
Off the cliff mabye
Ha ha, no chance. Scalp this thing even if only a 5 - 10% rise. It won't get above 1p ...good luck

I did a very rough calc, and am getting 27cents (US) , 19p..... Surely this can't be correct? 1bbl @$3 / 11 billion shares . Can it go from 0.4p - 19p ? ? ? Cant be right. Have I taken recoverable figure wrong ?
I've been in this crock of cack share for over 2 years, watched it slide and slide, so for the guys shouting
"Just waiting for the water fix RNS"
" Just waiting for the EWT @ 1000 Bbls/d then BOOM"
"Just waiting for the placing shares to sell off"
"Just waiting for the CPR then BOOM"
Load of cack. SS already said a CPR ain't coming until AT LEAST MAY, read that's as 'possibly May, probably frickin August"
BOOM, 5 bagger - yeah right o, and it will only be 2.5p ! What a crock. Lost quite a bit in this cack, but lost ALL confidence in UKOG, But wait - IOW then BOOM, aye right o. The only way this going to go boom is if they get a gas leak near a spark.
Can't wait to get out of this- at a loss of course, just praying it can rise to the dizzy heights of 2p, even then losing a packet. AIM Never again
PSRUS -. Timeline, not sure tbh. I'm not drilling crew, but from what I do know talking to drillers etc, the mud weights and composition is what the issue is here. The barite appears to be setting in hole (as far as we can tell), then trying to wash it out is the issue. I have used barite on a flowline as a 'plug' to give a gas block, however the stuff I used washes out with the flow , this stuff they are using is very heavy and with the temp is setting like concrete.
Deoends if they get it washed out, if it has plugged the perf area etc etc. They are doing the right thing asking BH to get an acid that will go after the barite as opposed to a HCl generic approach. All imho.
Smasher
I agree with your post. I worked at Kashagan, not the well drilling, but in operations, I can tell you that the high pressure (540 barg+ and the high temps) do cause problems. The BOPs used when they are doing the workovers are quite impressive. Even the normal HIPPS system is very robust. The main good thing I see for Casp is that they don't have the 18% H2s that Kashagan has, now that is a real pain in the rear - working in BA and lugging BA around in -30c in winter.
Yes, it will take time and patience to get the deeps going, but you really do t want a blowout at 500+ barg, so fair play to the drill crews.
As for Casp RNS fiascos - yeah I'm a bit cheesed off with that. Just do the right thing - under promise and over achieve.
The next 6 months will tell us all I think.
GLA
Been walking about all day raging at this RNS. What the "*" are they thinking of? 25 million + 1.2 million a year just to park it, crew cost and maintenance costs.....plus the Insurance in case they pollute the Caspian when hired out for drilling
The whole reason I bought into this was because Onshore, now they are toying with Offshore, shambles.
Waste of money, dilution, let's just get the friggin deeps going, get a decent CPR, a decent share price and I'm out of this. I won't wait around for them to muck up a drill, contaminate the Caspian and SP plummets.
Just furious, get the bloody oil out, get the value for the field, then go and find toys to buy....
Manwel - good find, I found this which I think is also very interesting:
Oil Search's North Slope exploration group is headed by Josef Chmielowski, vice president of exploration and new ventures, and former geoscientist with Alaska's Division of Oil and Gas, who was known for his knowledge of the Nanushuk and Torok formations in the more westerly region of the Slope.
October was meant to be 'thee' month for news. We know Baker Hughes turned up late, but surely must be finished cementing by now? There is a lot to report on.... So let's be having them reports please !
Deep Well 8
existence of a 159 meter carbonate interval, which 52.5 meters is of porous oil-bearing rock
the well was perforated across a 47 meters interval following which, encouragingly, strong gas and oil shows were detected.
We are working to further clean of the well before formal testing.
Deep Well A5
Baker Hughes, to undertake the final cementing are now expected to perform this in early October, following which to perforate the well over single interval of 50 meters.
Deep Well A6 + 801
work is now set to commence at Deep Well A6 on early October and then at Deep Well 801 several days later.
Don't flame me, I'm a LTH. My feeling is they have problems getting the deep to flow. They said a few more days clean up and get flow rates - 6 weeks later, nothing.
If this had flowed, they be singing about it. Also they'd have to RNS as its price sensitive flow rates.
Hoping we get news this month.
Just playing with a few numbers here - for possible future SP if all successful.
480 Mbbls X $3/bbl - $1.44 b / say 7 billion shares = $0.20 / share. Or 15p per share, is that right ? (I took $3 bbl for reserves in ground). I think I got something wrong ? - to go from sub 1p to 15p (potentially) seems to good to be true. Feel free to correct me. What is really scary is if Charlie 1 comes off, it unlocks even more....
Not ramping, just exploring possibilities.
Great RNS, even if it takes 2 months to get 4 deeps running, it will be a game changer.
Everyone talking of price with 4 deeps etc, however - we are still needing a CPR for 58 Km2 .... That should lift the SP quite a bit too I'm thinking...... A lot of news to come in the next 5 - 6 months. I can't wait for the CPR !
Thanks CC.
I know a bit subjective, and depends how you feel / look at it - what do people think is a plausible share price for 2 deeps flowing, MJF licence etc? 15p, 25p, 50p, ? I'm not ramping / dreaming just trying to get a realistic idea of SP when this comes good....
