Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Wonder why Elon Musk is not stockpiling this cheap Nickel now instead of saying he may need to go into mining in the future to secure supplies?
HZM is a low cost producer and is being financed by tier one banks on the forward predicted price of Nickel.
Even the big Chinese projects need $14,000 a tonne and their construction costs have reportedly doubled.

This firm obviously sees hope with the Nickel price - sell gold buy Nickel, that's a new one,
There is always a chance someone will buy the lot, that will have a valuation of its own.
Teck the largest shareholder does not have much exposure to Nickel.
Directors did seem to imply they would buy again once out of the closed season, though of course each has an individual decision to make. Their options are at 4.4p!

Investment summary towards the end, enjoy!
China uses half the Nickel in the world, of course tariffs imposed by Trump are going to make Nickel prices soften and the reserves in Araguia and Vermelho seem less attractive for the moment.
The fact is if vehicle manufacturers want batteries they will have to pay between $13,000 and latterly $20,000 dollars a tonne, to get the stuff out of the ground.
Thanks to Nickel Investor for stating the obvious, this company is priced to not do very well.
Prove to me it has poor assets, poor management and that large mining shareholders do not own over 20%, I won't get upset, I'll just sell.
Two forced sellers and Trump have not helped. Someone on the other board pointed out that by November Trump will be in run up to election mode, so he may have a change of tune with China by then. Mexico tariffs did not last long.
You got your entry point at below 2p Ivor that you were asking for in April, good luck to you.
Plod on.

HZM have considerable more resources.
Higher cost Nickel producers will need $17,000 a tonne (HZM a lower cost producer) and by 2025 the gap in the market by demand exceeding supply will need an incentive price of $20,000 a tonne.
So if you think HZM or someone else will build the mines, hang on to your shares.

Ignore if you don't want a long read, about investment strategy in resources and importance of conferences.
Jeremy of course is speaking at the International Nickel Conference today.
I nearly tipped my early morning cup of gin all over me Catching!
How is your porridge this morning Ivor?
Yep, Ivor, Vale spent $200 million, they were so eager to get rid of it, HZM don't have to pay most of the $8 million until HZM start producing.
It is said that Vale had cheesed of the local mining authorities so much that they saw little hope of getting the required permits. This of course was even before the latest Vale dam disaster.
Also this was before EV's were even a twinkle in someone's eye.
Vale were going to build a mega mine, HZM are cherry picking the best ores initially, cobalt and Nickel.
Someone should let Jeremy know of your profound analysis, poor lamb.
It's the 'same old, same old' probably soon they will arrive pontificating that the porridge is 'too hot' 'too cold' or in the wrong bowls.
But those in charge carry on progressing this as now confirmed one of the few new EV mines that will actually arrive on time for the party.
I spent the last half of last year saying the selling was a conspiracy, it wasn't. No idea this time, except they won't be getting my shares.
For Vale to get to that 'known' it cost them $200 million, HZM bought Vermelho for a few million! Hzm wanted to be sure they had the grades to cherry pick the best ores, to provide a lean and profitable mine for EV suitable Nickel and cobalt.
Jeremy won't be speaking at the International Nickel Mining Conference on Thursday to announce he is growing sweetcorn, (worst case scenario) he will be there as a great big 'Come and Buy' signal, shares or the whole lot.
