RE: Tomorrow is the last trading day before Xmas for RNS23 Dec 2020 13:33
I've been thinking about this almost non-stop, ever since GH's comment in the AGM. From what I've read on this forum, he is considered to be a man who uses words very precisely. He would only have mentioned next year, I believe, if he was fairly sure that was going to be the case.
Whilst we accept that once GGP are in possession of the assay results they have to publish immediately via RNS, I think we can also assume a decent working relationship between GGP and the assay office staff. I imagine a conversation along the lines of "MR H, assay office here, sorry for the delay, but if we push, I think we can get them to you 23rd. December" GH "So look guys, it's no biggie, please don't bust a gut, if you drop us an email when you get back after New Year's that will be just fine! Have a Greatland Christmas!"
And so, results arrive while Market is closed and are incorporated in a beautifully worded RNS in a timely fashion to kick the year and the new MD's term off to a brilliant start.
Seasons best wishes to all and a huge thank you to the incredibly knowledgeable and generous posters here - oh and Mushroom Kid!
