In which event ALL the Builders should have re-rated (as happened with the Miners yesterday). They didn't.

So clearly it was Company specific. There's a pull back today, so we'll have to watch what happens over the next week or so.

Sorry. None of the responses addresses my real question. Why 6% up YESTERDAY. Why not the day before or two days before, or the previous week.

Clearly a move of this nature IN A SINGLE DAY has some catalyst, not necessarily in the public domain. I'm not saying it is in this case, but it tends to happen if predators arrange a meeting, or a bid is received by Management, or an upcoming Trading update is leaked etc.

Can someone give me a - concrete (without conjecture and waffle about the Housing Market, Interest rates, Gut feel, Fingers in the air etc etc) - give me any solid idea why we have done so well today? I did top up this morming @ c. 674p.

I think you may wish to take another look at some of those dividend yields, especially Vistry.

This Czech "interest" is the least convincing. Lots of people "look at" lots of different investment opportunities, without taking it further.
