We would love to hear your thoughts about our site and services, please take our survey here.
Put Up above all has balance and reasoned arguments in his posts - something other posters should heed and follow.
This board would be hugely diminished if he chose to stop.
Bought a few today. Probably too early but I think we are near the floor.
Geopolitics worse by the day, pipeline closed, contracts unsettled, Brent weak and GKP go up on the day! I do fear the slippy slope is coming however.
I am still out and it looks as though I will remain so for quite a while.
With nothing firm to go on this board has firmly entered the silly season. Why? What is the motivation to post what is clearly guesses, wishes and hopes at best and at worst deliberate misinformation?
Come on let's return to the world of evidence based rational discussion.
Possibly of interest to no-one I came back in at 141 a couple of months ago, reduced the average to 116,and sold out out at 126. The risks versus the rewards are just too great for me
Straycats are often castrated particularly if they threaten dangerous action!! No way should JH risk alienating any of the actors in the region unless it is in concert with the other companies and then only as a last resort. Patience has won in the past and is again the approach with the best chance of success.
There is no point in challenging the KRG at this stage. History has shown that the quiet approach has been successful and will be again if the KRG ever have the money to pay.
So I do think JH is playing right and if challenging action has to be taken it is done in concert with the other companies in the area.
The modern phenomenon of conspiracy theories seems to be firmly in place on this site and with the usual characteristics - no demonstrable evidence or logic. What a shame and indeed shame on those involved
Hello Straycat, the only acronym needed for your post is P - P for pathetic - and the only number needed is 0 - 0 out of 10.
You do have some interesting things to say so why not cut out the irrational obsession with that top class poster Putup?
Put Up, as the share price deteriorates so does your language. Understandable but standards are standards!!
This is no longer about numbers or productivity or the price of oil - it is about people and their maneuverings. So where is our man? Will he leave the bunker? Will he deign to tell us his plan?
Can't kick the habit. Would be nice if our Chairman(the reason for me leaving ) did something positive for a change and bought a few shares assuming the wifi works in the bunker he invariably inhabits.
Straycat, if you want informed analysis then there is no better poster than Putup as apposed to posters like you who do themselves and the Chat Board a disservice.
I sold out of GKP some time ago because I thought the company would go nowhere under the then Chairman. Is Jaap still there? I am getting itchy fingers at today's price but will resist if he is still in charge - I do see him as a critical drag on the company's future.
Still waiting for the Chairman to go before coming back in here.I wonder what his approval rating is with shareholders these days?
I have been looking at Pres for a while but their size is putting me off. In the kind of markets they are operating can a £23m.company make significant progress?Hydrogen is exciting but if it does take off considerable investments will be needed, investments that bigger companies can make much more easily.
The Company's intellectual property,if considered strong and unique enough, could interest a buyer. At present ,I think this must be the major hope for the share rather than substantial organic growth.
Any views would be be much appreciated.
Yes Putup spot on.The energy scene is changing at a phenominal speed .In 10 years the amount of land to be covered by solar panels in this country will astound people. I am part of a 700 acre project, unthinkable until recently but now self funding with excellent returns starting in 2025 or earlier.
Is there any truth inthe rumour that our Chairman is in a Crete hotel refusing to take calls?
Thanks for the response Put Up. My view is pretty similar. I am itching to build again around 150 but will continue to resist whilst the present Chairman is in place.
Quite right SS this is a gkp board so why dont you take your personal vendetta with CCC somewhere else.
PS PUT UP, I asked for your latest view of the Chairman and the Board. This was a genuine request that values your opinion so it would be great if you could respond.
So often the rational, although sometimes too intemperate, view of GKP and investor's issues what is your view of the Chairman and Board. Can shareholder interests and values be maximised by them?
