PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
Stock market analysts don't watch football. Or go outside.
From what I can tell Mkango are taking their corporate social responsibility seriously. They're getting praise from the Malawian government for passing on skills to the locals, investing in local schools, and hosting academics interested in rare earth research.
Doesn't help us make money, but it does feel nice.
Well at least the director's wives like the stock. Still seems very cheap based on future guidance. Maybe they should start buybacks.
Yes - obviously designed by comeone who'd never actually used an online messageboard before.
In my opinon we're going to have to wat until September's interms for any significant share price movement. I really don't understand why people are gettng som impatient - If you're not wlling to wait a few months, why invest at all? I'm hoping we get a H1 update in July as well, although we didn't last year. With $1.5m in Q1, i'm hoping for at least $3.5m for H1. Thoughts?
Any rapidly growing company eats cash in working capital requirements, especially one that's just crossing over from loss making to profitability.
Presumably we'll get regular updates as per: "We look forward to keeping the market updated as we progress through the drilling programme and other major milestones." Also there's: "In coming weeks, Mkango will be hosting investor and analyst site visits to Songwe and the Thambani Uranium-Tantalum-Niobium Project, also in Malawi."
I can understand it would be galling to see management rewarded for getting you back where you started!
I don't think it's that bad. A third at 16p, a third at 19.2p and a third at 22.4p, and they have to pay 12.8p to get them. They're not actually worth that much in the grant scheme of things, and they'll only get them if they do a good job.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2018/05/19/should-stop-complaining-get-caml-boss-nick-clarke-life-miner/ I don't have premium access, alas.
EPS dropped slightly from last year. But the underlying results look solid enough to me.
Seems the vast majority only offer cash, alas. If there's a S&S ISA out there that offers scrip, I haven't been able to find it yet....
A 15% increase in revenues combined with a drop in margin to 18% gves us a 4% increase in profit before tax based on the full year accounts, unless i've missed something obvious..... Doesn't seem like a disaster to me.
Trading update tomorrow.....
I guess we can't keep going up forever.... anyone know if anything caused that?
https://www.reuters.com/article/global-metals/metals-london-copper-rises-as-inventories-plunge-aluminium-slips-idUSL3N1SH25W BEIJING, May 10 (Reuters) - London copper prices rose for a second session on Thursday on falling inventories and signs of strong demand in top consumer China, while aluminium retreated for the first time in four trading days. Copper stocks MCUSTX-TOTAL in London Metal Exchange-registered warehouses dropped by another 7,950 tonnes to 285,075 tonnes, exchange data showed on Thursday. They are fallen by more than 100,000 tonnes since March 27. China imported 442,000 tonnes of unwrought copper in April, according to customs data released this week, the highest monthly total so far in 2018. "Apart from the reduced supply of copper scrap, the strong import appetite was also attributable to an increase in smelting capacity and less than expected ... maintenance scheduled for April," Argonaut Securities analyst Helen Lau wrote in a note.
We're not even half way through Q2 yet...... and the Q1 update was good but had no long term effect. If half year figures show an operating profit, with a good outlook statement, we'll start to rise. I thnk we have to be patient until then.
Where else can you get a dividend yield of over 6% covered twice by profits? Seriously, i'd like to know....
Looks nice and cheap, at least.
I like the sound of this: http://www.cottongrower.com/crop-inputs/precision-agriculture/cropx-soil-intelligence-program-connects-deep-sensors-satellites/ Recent Becks Practical Farm Research reports found that CropX-based irrigation produced 16-24% more yield compared to manual irrigation. CropX soil moisture sensors are super easy to install compared to others in the industry, noted Jason Rodgers of Titan Farms in Ridge Spring, SC. In addition, the companys tech support has been great, and the ability to view data allows us to make decisions quickly.
