Food industry prefer SS 303

Medical prefer SS 316 or 316L.

304 better for welding but i doubt either would be used for kiln. You can get magnetic Stainless.

Someone will likely say, China used probably crap. But building from drawing specifics and schematics the materials will be ordered to chosen characteristics.

All with have a long list of paperwork right back through manufacturers, to steel suppliers, all the way back to the cook house they formed the steel.

The economics. There are lots of figures floating about. The best ones are the purity and shear expanse / shallow depth of the titanium ore. Not forgetting the possible low quantities of toxic residue.

I think what Artic is saying is that Rio may have made a strategic decision regarding titanium. If the price is down as you say, and a possible major player is up and coming that may dominate the market, it's a no brainer to divert attentions elsewhere. For the meantime that is. Doesn't that sound reasonable?

So, on a takeover, would we just get a payout? Or options in shares in the takeover company? What would happen?
