Looks like it’s on the move now
One of those sells was mine, crystallising capital gains on shares bought for .37p a long time ago. Proceeds will be reinvested in ISA after 6 April. Not wanting to be out of this share for longer than necessary. Suspect I am not the only one.
High volume for this early in the morning. Good for the sp.
Inflation is running way above any return you will receive for a cash deposit, which historically is unusual with rising inflation. That encourages money to stay in stocks which should over time rise with inflation while at the same time paying a dividend. If the national banks raise interest rates to the levels they would have done in the past, before quantitive easing was available, there will probably be a pronounced pullback in the stock market. Such low interest rates with inflation at increasingly high levels is untested territory for politicians, economists and the markets.
Couldn’t buy £10K so split into three approx £3k buys. Onwards and upwards!
It certainly is if you already hold shares as I did 3 separate buys this morning for myself and better half. Could be different if you don’t hold shares in SAR as they only appear to have updated my portfolio following consolidation but not the general share info which still gives the old pre consolidation price.
SCHeckler, suspect you may not be the only one. Porsche dealer saying, “Sareum, that will do nicely sir!”
I guess all publicity which gets Sareum’s name out in public is good. Hopefully it will encourage investors to DTOR and invest!
Basser, think Thoth has answered your question more accurately than I could have. The figures I saw from memory were between 30-70% could not be reproduced. I came across that study a couple of years ago. Has made me sceptical of scientific evidence without corroboration from other sources.
Sadly this problem with replication of results is not just with medical science. A high percentage of university science papers, often paid for by vested interests, are found to be unreliable when repeated.
Suspect 15:1 or 20:1 to bring the share price up to £1……….gives the share gravitas in the minds of some investors. Ultimately it’s the real value of the company irrespective of the number of shares that matters long term. Psychological mind games are at play.
I’ve yet to be part of a consolidation that has benefitted me, as a private shareholder. Generally it is costly to the company and money for the city boys, followed by a downward trend in the share price.
The question is, do we need a higher share price now by consolidation to move the share price up for the longer term, or can SAR do it on their own from internal value generation. Personally I feel we could, with good news in the next six months, take the share price to a level that is attractive to the big boys without consolidating.
And overall a very good volume for this time on a Monday morning. Looks good for a rise if trading continues at these volumes.
Possibly sold to PH to give them a float as part of the agreement they have with them. Also consider the fact that the directors may need cash as they are by no means the highest rewarded in liquid terms.
Too true Bobbler, in fact the “patience of a saint” would be really helpful! The science is still as good as ever and we are nearing the end game. Hold for gold.
Good volume this morning, bodes well for the week ahead…..
A lot of people gunning for you Notalot. Stay strong, think positive and you’ll get the outcome you wish for. Good luck mate.
They certainly don’t have to. Costs and requirements are low on aim whereas the main market costs a lot more to be part of and the regulatory requirements are much more onerous. There are a surprising number of successful and relatively big companies who have stayed on aim as they have expanded just because aim regulations give them an easier and cheaper option.
A7ccd, think you are correct. Cannot take shares instead of cash if privy to inside info which can substantially change the share price. Apart from that there is the very real problem of living when capital/share rich but without a cash income for too long.
The lack of info on the Covid front in the update strongly suggests that things they might have wanted to say they couldn’t due to NDAs.
Hold tight, the ground breaking science will win through in time..
Dirty tricks by the MM’s but for the longer term the news is positive.
