I started and ran a business, selling it for profit after it had become established.
I was under a lot of pressure to borrow to raise funds at the beginning.
I refused.
The business started making its' own profits because of the work ethic of everyone involved.
Those profits went back into the business so it could establish itself and gain some credibility.
Six years later it's still going and has grown even further.
Banks come to it now, but it's current owners no longer need to borrow.

We managed what we had before trying to expand.
We paid all of our debts early or on time and had a very good reputation with our suppliers and clients.
We ran to a tight budget and didn't waste our income.
Neither did we feel a need to.

A good lesson for most things in life and one UKOG's board could learn well from.
;)

For me, I still think there's more to come.
The spread's not attractive enough for me to buy in to try for a trade either.
I think it will be a while before any more meaningful bad news, so the next opportunity will be if there's any meaningful good news.
I'm not aware of any of either in the offing (okay, maybe Basur - if you think that might still be any kind of going concern).

You're trying to engage a madman.
He either sees signs that the share price rise, or it's going to fall so that's a buying opportunity.
To him there is no negative.
