I did well out of the spike a few years ago and subsequent months, doing similar.
Tried to explain to others saying holding was the only way to profit here.
Mostly "deaf ears" I'm afraid.
I'm also guilty of that myself though, as I left some of the profits I made here as well.
Now I wish I'd followed my own counsel and just kept buying and selling.

Profited on almost everything I've tried it with, with one big exception where I lost £30k (£18k after profits, etc) when 3OIL went bust in March, just before the price of WTI went negative).

What you can't do in Tier 4:-

Residents should stay at home, unless they have a "reasonable excuse" such as work or education
All non-essential shops must close
Hairdressers and nail bars must close
Indoor entertainment venues must close
Gyms and indoor swimming pools, indoor sports courts and dance studios must close
You cannot meet other people indoors, unless you live with them or they are part of your support bubble
People should not leave tier four areas or travel abroad, except for limited reasons (including work and education)
Weddings and civil partnership ceremonies are only allowed in exceptional circumstances

What you can:-

Meeting one other person from another household in an open public space, if you are both alone
Shopping for essentials such as food and medicine
Outdoor pools, playgrounds, sports courts, golf courses and horse riding centres can open
You can leave home for work, education, training, childcare and for medical appointments and emergencies
Communal religious worship
Support bubbles are still allowed and children can move between separated parents

Ozzy, I've traded this share for three and a half years (not much in the last two).
I'm a PI, as Penguins is.
I post my views on the share.
They remain the same regardless of whether I want the share to rise or fall.
Circumstances influence my views, not whether I can sucker someone else into losing for my benefit.
PI's have zero influence on this SP.

I've had a dual strategy with UKOG, Paulio.
I've traded and held shares for three and a half years.
The only way I've made any profit here in all that time, is still from buying and selling them over very short periods of time.
When you troll other investors because they chose a different investment style than you, you're still just a troll.

I find it odd how many "former SAS officers" deny their anonymity.

The SAS is a secretive organisation whose members often do not tell anyone except close family that they are in it.
The British Ministry of Defence (MOD) rarely speaks of the SAS and mission details are never released until much later.
They are anonymous to protect them from [terrorist] reprisals.

I think more like, "Bravo Two Trousers".
