I think you may be correct in that the SP will rise.
Unfortunately (IMHO) I believe that will be a knee-jerk reaction, unsustainable with current sentiment towards UKOG and especially its' board.
It will be a short-lived spike.
Then PI's will start preparing for the next round of dilution, a resolution of which Sly Sandercon has already notified us that there will be in the end of June AGM - potentially he could issue a further 2/3 of the current shares in issue.
Personally I don't believe he would ask for so much, just because the last placing failed (miserably) to achieve his desired figure.

For visibility of my potential bias, I am currently holding a position in UKOG.
I only trade UKOG but I've only bought in here three times this year and all of those within the last fortnight.
I have a low Sell to try and capture some of any spike there may be, but I am not stretching it at all greedily, just in case it misses altogether.
I'm happy to make low profit margins and often, than large profits but once-in-a-blue-moon.

Agreeing to increase output is very different from the ability to follow through with it.
Similarly having any increase in the price of Brent benefit BP is very different to it benefitting UKOG's 'hobby' output.

Oil has not been close to $120 a barell for years.

Except that time when it was $127.00 on the 8th March (this year).
And obviously when it was $1.22 on the 23rd March (this year).
And of course $1.20 on the 23rd May (this year).
But other than those three very recent occasions, it has indeed been years since oil has been close to $120.00/barrel (two 'r's, one 'l'.)

I have a copy of the de-ramping Gideons did of BP before I went on a mad trading spree with it.
I've traded BP 84 times, just this year alone now.
That's more than I managed with UKOG during my first 18 months when I made so much here*.

It's the govt, not the council.
The announcement was always slated for announcement by the 7th (Tuesday).
The real question is which way their decision will go.

I hope it does, so you can realise some kind of profit.
Unfortunately I still don't see anything to make anyone positive about this company's future.
More projects before any actual profits.
More dilution before investors see any returns.
This has been a trader for five years and that is it's future, at least in the near to mid term.
