Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Not sure how big a problem it is elsewhere, but check in issues at Zurich last night and today.....
I lost the will with IAG to a degree in the past few months and went back to Forex.... made some money and looking to get back in to IAG. It's got to go up soon, although IMO with interest rates hiked again, people have less money and therefore less travel? I think the rise of these shares are limited to no more than £2 this year, but let's hope I am wrong. Also until IAG start paying dividends, there are other shares which seem a little more appealing right now....only wish I knew which ones ;-) Happy weekend folks
I mentioned this a few months ago on this forum but was shot down.... the website was obviously designed by someone on the YTS (might be showing my age there).... Simple business, 'Make it easy to book and people won't get fed up and leave your site!'
Personal thoughts are that this is a short term blip and people having experienced the chaos of staying at home for vacations is not an option. The UK cannot handle 50 million tourists plus all the hotels etc in UK were expensive and so not appealing to go back. I am in the Ski industry and people are bursting to get away at the seams! It didnt help with false information about quarantine in Switzerland if you are travelling through but essentially, anyone skiing in France, I know the slopes are open from this weekend after amazing snow. IAG shares will stall and not explode for another couple of weeks IMO but again I feel that the current restrictions are for governments to get their ducks in line, to get hospitals empty ready for the influx of winter illnesses like flu which seemed to disappear. Also, they panicked on this winter weather they are having. Its loads of nonsense but then I am bias being in the industry.... have a nice day everyone
Hopefully we will start to see some rationality in the Governments across the world. The realisation of the disruption caused with Logistics, employment, displacement and many other aspects of life by Locking Down is not something they surely wish to nurture again. This new variant will not be the last and thus we must learn to live with that. The narrative at the moment seems to be about Global vaccination with Africa total only 3% estimate vaccinated. Then in Europe, there is still resistance by some nations and thus again, using these new variants as leverage is being fully exploited. This IMO is a hold and hopefully does not drop below the 120 mark and hopefully we will receive positive and aligned news this week. Lots of hopeful I appreciate that, but as a Voyeur on this forum, very few predictions are accurate short term.... Be safe
Just keeping things positive here.... https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/ba-owner-iag-says-transatlantic-095929085.html
Of course these bits of good news are tempered with not so good news, but IMO, the government stances about possible lockdowns is another scare tactic forcing people to get the jab. These tactics are becoming fast ignored now and people are getting angry. It'll be time to move on soon and leave the unvaccinated to take their chances at their own responsibility soon I hope!!
I did an intensive training course in sitting this out...it was called investing in XRP about 10 years ago! It will come round eventually, planes are in the sky and governments are seriously not going to jeopardise their economies once more by full lock downs again. In for the long term but it will only take some good figures and positive reporting from the airlines and I feel we will see a massive spike
Keep seeing lots of posts about Skyscanner and how much flights costs, but check out what is in the air

IMO - the governments rhetoric across Europe is to stem travel for as long as possible to claw back the furlough payments back into their own economies. As someone in the ski industry, I can tell you that things are booming.....as long as they can get here of course! But essentially, the confidence is high that people can really start getting back to normal soon and travelling for their holidays.
Completely agree - friends I know are starting to travel again for business, both in Europe and the US. Whilst we agree Zoom style meetings have been a saviour for the past near two years, there is nothing better than a face to face. The ski industry is looking very promising this season also, as many people are not dissuaded by this media and government bullying. Read the headlines and then read the bull* article. They are inflammatory and click bait scare mongering full of lies and fake news. Once something else comes along for them to be distracted by, confidence will return in travelling again. ps. Malaga airport was at 80% of flights this summer in comparison with 2019. Have a great day everyone
Look at how many times the goal posts have changed.....getting the vaccination and everyone was positive! Then it was after 13 million vulnerable people we can ease restrictions, then they added another 4 million to the vulnerable list and even now, they are making up variants to pro long the pain!! I am not sure they have a real plan, and far too scared to come out of lockdown as fear the media back lash. Its pathetic - and I actually like Boris but since he became PM, he has lost his bottle and now a bumbling wreck
Rant over - have a lovely weekend :-)
Good afternoon everyone, bought in at 1.627 as charts suggest a bounce??
European leaders meeting today and tomorrow, so perhaps Ursula has a few things to circulate with them from last nights meeting with Boris... end of the week, the bad news usually comes out but Monday could be a fresh start! Ever hopeful ;-)
Its in the medias interest to hold on to these tit bits of information and feed us devastation and negativity....I think the meeting yesterday between Boris and Ursula was actually to discuss how to announce the already done deal on Sunday for maximum impact to cheer everyone up for Christmas.... or am I deluded and someone has stuck something in my coffee today?? lol Holding my IAG for the long term as see this flying next week! Just gut feeling...or wishful thinking!
Good morning - seems there is a lot of positive news coming out about travel and reports of further bookings. I am in the travel industry and certainly noticing a surge in enquiries. Hopefully Boris can agree something today which I am sure will again only have positive ramifications. Have a great day everyone
What is happening?? Is it just a correction before the rise??
Hi Guys, Hope you don't mind me joining in the chat....
Perhaps the spike this morning was due to the confidence shown in extra flight bookings after the Black Friday sales with a view to the vaccine final confirmatory news (hopefully) later this month. I too was a little nervous at the retraction but then, with a big spike usually comes a profit taking phase.
I'm in for this up to 200-210 before taking profits like possibly many others - hopefully that will be this month!! lol
