Well first of all the concession is just the first real step in permitting. After this comes the (apparently) much more stringent environmental permit to obtain. And there is a scoping study, PFS, DFS, etc to conclude so to me we are a long way from those kind of valuations but this concession will certainly take away a large part of the risk and bring back investor confidence into the project.

Even lbjj was once a positive poster around those years and held. Different times. Maybe once/if this minister follows words with actions we may see a change amongst investors and the return of some.

What a great week. Sp movement and comments made by new minister. I can't see this dropping loads before they announce if/when a decision happens especially if it does come in the next few weeks or so. Certainly expecting consolidation at hopefully a decent price and healthy retrace before we advance again on anticipation. Gl all :)

Kallak is being discussed in government on the 10th and Sami have until 16th to respond. Good the focus is very much on kallak.

I'd imagine they will try anything and everything but I think the new minister will take the decision based on all evidence not long after. That's my thoughts anyway.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry has today sent UNESCO's statement and JIMAB's opinion on this to Jåhkågasska Thiellde and requested that any opinion in connection with these should be received by the ministry no later than 16 December.

No cash call. He still has 3.8 million in the bank as at end of September. And to be fair they are getting excited for a good reason. I just hope the minister acts on the words otherwise expectations won't be met and we will see a sharp decline.

No, this time it's been pumped by the minister himself, if his words are anything to go by we should expect a decision on kallak within a respectable timeframe.

I would love for it to be just before Christmas, gives this time to build up for a few weeks. :)

With a fairly short experience as Minister of Trade and Industry, I still have to say that it is time to take that issue. So I will see if we can not come back in the near future with a message on that issue, says Minister of Trade and Industry Karl-Petter Thorwaldsson (S) to the Althing.

That is the best sentence I've heard from a minister yet. Let's hope actions follow this time! :)
