I think at least one firm of shorts would rather take their profits now rather than risk losses after an announcement on monday. sensible strategy rather than trying to go for all or nothing when they have already made money

A spike of 5% there in a minute has to be another short reduction. tide is rising

Im now in double digit profits from the buy last week but expect that to just be the start

Their profits are now reducing each day as this share steadily creeps up

Looks like 17p will be broken. Just the start before next week!

Will be happy with a 17p finish and more to come on monday. everyday will be a knife edge for the shorts next week

Trader; if petrofac do manage to continue trading through this then the share will explode and thats why i have bought back in. I also think if this starts to march closer to 20p then a lot of shorts will have to seriously think about their position. Have no doubt that if this pays off as someone who as invested in this many times over the years i will write endless messages on how Im spending and enjoying the money just like Tony did in the shoe the shorts are reading it!

Hope so! i wonder if some of the majors shorts want to adjust their position before monday and the start of the announcement week? i mean we know the payment extension runs until the 20th of September but theres nothing to say they wont announce something earlier. imagine the response if they announce they have managed to bring in some substantial client payments

And would certainly be nice if the shorts aren't able to exit quietly in a controlled manner. id like to see a dog fight between them

Im already 4% up from this morning. if there is a further heavy short reduction with the payment announcement next week this share will be fired up

Just increased my holding and will continue to increase for the rest of the week. With the combination of the September payment deadline imminent and the major shorts reducing Im expecting good news. Any positive news and this will sky rocket. DYOR

Im going with 40p short term target too. The individuals on this board backing the shorts have got to be twitchy now as the big boys start to pull out

Just remember Tony & Snapper the losses are unlimited if this share fires up after re-financing. Im much happier buying at the bottom than shorting it

I think tony and snapper (if they are not the same person) run a serious risk of being caught out here. I've bought back in, albeit a fairly small investment because I believe the demand for this share will far outstrip any dilution as soon as the finances are restored. GLA

Could do without Tony's posts as his weak short arguments tend to push the price back up and Id like to buy back in!
