You may be right about MED being the answer to sandersons loan. Personally I think there are other options and sooner but there again I’m looking for 5p sooner than 0.3p later so I would say that.

Now I agree in all likelihood that's perhaps on the optimistic side and over 9 months things can slip but I think its more realistic at this point to expect revenues BY Q1 2020.

Additionally we don't have to have revenue to pay off the loan. Should we get a PPA / DFS / CSA for Moz and progress with MED in the next month then I would expect a rise in the SP which may open other doors financially. There is also the prospect of something being arranged through SEPCO

If he personally revokes the SML for KIBO or enacts new laws to prevent inward investment what message does that send? As it stands they have no-one lined up officially for the 600MW of coal fired power, unofficially 400MW and that project looks decidedly flaky

Track record suggests that getting anything over the line in TG may be difficult but i don't see it as insurmountable even with JPM in control. Clearly there is now a focus on getting the Moz DFS signed off, PPA's agreed and a CSA lined up all being well in April. We should have a clearer picture on MED at the same time. God forbid we might even get a statement form Tanesco,

Either way there should be an update at the end of the month. Deal, no deal, or extension ......... sound familiar or do we think we need to go down the indicative options route as well.

I see that the July 3rd and now the Dec 11th RNS are not listed on the LSE site both relating to SEPCO. Not great if you want to go back and read up and have a complete view

The issue isn't the actual project its the TG Govt / Tanesco. The project itself is sound. The demand for power and coal fired power still exists even if there is a 'winner' for the current tender process. Would / should KIBO still pursue it is the question? Unless the SML is approved the ongoing upkeep costs must be minimal so no harm in looking at other options (preferably with as little TG / Tanesco involvement as possible)

Come on sonic let’s have some balance. DFS is in final review and it’s mid March. Private offtake PPAs could still land. If you read the Jan 30th rns they never promised q1 but a priority. Clear progress imo and we all need to rely on a variety of sources and opinion ......

I think you have at least to wait until the TG formally announces whose gone through in he tender or that the tender has been cancelled. That there is no other route to take the mcpp forward. That the sml application is not approved / rejected. That the ML application in Bots is rejected. That the BIPP DFS PPA EPC EIA are all abandoned. That the KAT venture fails. And MAST fails to secure JDAs. Just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean it can’t. I accept timescales have slipped and finance will always be required but there is still plenty to play for

Retaining 40% is interesting but it will be 40% of an entity that has larger debts / overheads if I read this right. So keeping it simple 40% of a reduced profit. Out of preference this looks better than having to raise a 40% share of any capital required.

Don't dispute that. Not all companies can succeed and any investment is a risk. Some more than others.
