This has been a good day indeed !
It’s interesting how the markets have reacted today with the new stimulus packages from Europe and the US.
And we can see now which shares will rebound better once the actual recovery begins in earnest!
I am dropping my AA shares for a start!
and put that cash into this .
Yes that must be it , waiting to see any signs of a reversal of the lockdown measures. Problem being in the USA with the unrest over the last few days so social distancing went out of the window.
Maybe see some spikes in those areas .
Give it a few more days and this will take off .
Like I say to people don’t wait 10 years now is the time to build a good set of investments .
Pfd is part of my portfolio and we can see now that the business has began to turn the corner.
It’s been a longtime coming! .
Plus they are well positioned to expand with the subsequent staycations this summer. ( which is usually a slack period for them )
Your right ! I guess as you say we are just not in favour.
Other businesses which are still in lockdown their shares are rising ( CINE )!?
Strange times indeed .
Maybe it’s to do with Buffet when he dabbled in tsco years ago ( Warren has a buffet with Tesco etc ) then said later he regretted it . But they have come along way since then.
Outpacing Aldi !

I think its the mindset of a recession and construction usually is the last to recover.
Granted this downturn is indeed unusual .
I suppose the questions : will there be another dip ,
Trade wars with USA/ China all are weighing things down.
It will probably just be a slow burn but it will definitely get there .
I’m in for the long haul .
It’s strange but in past recessions Construction always took the longest to recover.
Some of the projects the company I work are suffering slight delays but this is down to skill shortages within the construction industry!
This recession is definitely upside down .
