The 24th July Interim report confirms that the 200kw system is still undergoing operational testing. Assuming that this testing is by AFC it could be reasonably expected that the CE mark testing may not be completed until Feb/March 2025. Has anyone seen any other information confirming a different timeframe?

Good point Snork. Perhaps the CE marking of the 200kw unit will be a turning point for ABB. We can but hope!

First few months of the new CEO's tenure will be interesting to say the least. If there's still no news then we really should be worried. Fingers crossed this will not be the case.

The Telegraph today has read a Peel Hunt report:

“ One-third of smaller British companies are at risk of being picked off the stock market in a takeover next year after a slump in UK share prices, a City investment bank warned.

Peel Hunt said small and mid-cap companies worth up to £250m listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) were highly vulnerable to acquisition in 2025 - with one in three at risk.

It comes as stock valuations have plunged this week amid expectations that the US Federal Reserve and the Bank of England will make fewer interest rate cuts next year.

According to Peel Hunt, 32pc of AIM companies with a market cap of £50m to £250m have seen their share price fall by more than 30pc in the last 12 months leaving them ripe for an approach from a buyer next year.”

Wow how have GeoPure gained traction so quickly when they were only established in 2019? They'll have 60 hydrogen delivery trucks available by the end of this month, and a 500kw system in early 2025!!

Is there a red herring here, or is it as bad as it looks for AFC?

Not necessarily Sturmtrupper, I am concerned as to why these to55ers are determined to drive this company into the ground. Extending the short at this price isn't going to make them a fortune, so what's the real motive?

Snork, about a third of the shorts were taken out in November when the SP was around 10p. Personally, I don't reckon the SP is going to drop much, if at all from here, so there's not much profit to be had on those transactions. That's my reasoning.

What I still don't understand is why they are shorting AFC from a very cheap position when there are probably loads of stocks out there that they could short from a high share price, and make substancially more profit? What is it about AFC and ITM that particularly makes Helikon want to short them? Are they paid by the fossil fuel industry to try and hinder progress in new green technology? I just don't get their reasoning.

Thanks for the link CN. Tamgo appear to be fully promoting AFC, and the visiting AFC team are clearly excited by the future prospects of this relationship. Lots to look forward to in 2025

Thought it was quite informative, with questions responded to clearly. Actually asked both of my questions:

- Wiould they meet break even within 3 years (though this was not directly answered from memory)

- How will the hydrogen be supplied in overseas contracts

Agree with most on here that the cracker side of the business appears to be the game changer, and next years field trials will be critical for for the future growth and success of this technology, and hopefully the share price too.

They did say that the US is a main target market, and we know that ABB have a large presence in the US, so news could involve ABB after the 200kw system is CE marked.

Pleased with yesterdays RNS, as much with the clearer detail contained within it as the subsequent improvement in the share price. Still baffled by Helikon mind??

GingerT, look back to December 2023 where you state a few times that MASSIVE news coming from the Middle East in February 2024. It caught my attention as you stated it several times. I even think one post says you know somebody in the industry in the know. Just interested to know what happened if this is true?
