One more tbing. 1 year ago pfc was carrying approx £700m of debt and poeple were speculating about a fine of maybe £500m. Today pfc have NO debt (actually have £75m cash) so even if a £500m fine was ever levied, they could pay it off and be no worse of than they were 1 year ago.

No brainer this one!

Pfc are a shrewd outfit who run a tight ship. So, why didn’t they set aside any funds for any potential sfo fine?

Has anybody considered this? It tells me this, they are convinced that the sfo case will amount to nothing and so why would they bother allocating a contingency?

They didn't have to mention the SFO after the early Feb rns. Previously they were reluctant to mention SFO. The fact that they have done AGAIN today tells me that they are becoming increasingly confident that nothing significant will come of it.

Almost like they're saying to the sfo, "Prove it or drop it".

Pleased with results. Dividend maintained. Debt eliminated. Forward order book healthy.

I also have a feeling that we will see the sfo drop the case against PFC shortly as they did recently with RR and GSK.

Anyone got any predictions for tomorow? Price?

Any sign the sfo are climbing down/backing off and this will absolutely skyrocket to £7+ in a heartbeat. Even a hefty fine (payable in instalments) and this share will skyrocket because you will remove the thing the market hates the most - UNCERTAINTY. PFC have already proved that it’s reputation and ability to win contracts has not been tarnished to any great extent in last 18 months. Had this not been the case it would have hurt PFC even more than any large fine it may face. The worst possible outcome from sfo is already overpriced into the share price.

I love this share. It always bounces back after it gets knocked down. It’s the Rocky Balboa of the FTSE250!! If your buying under £5 and have time to wait and don’t need the money, you will make a lot of money on PFC over next 12 months.

3. Sale of non-core assets
4. Excellent dividend yield (20p divi end of April)
5. Diversifying into green energy projects
6. Healthy contract pipeline (admittedly not brilliant but healthy nonetheless)
7. Committed CEO who has put 10M of his own money where his mouth is.
8. Attractive takeover target at current levels
9 Large bidding pipeline
10. Excellent industry reputation as a contractor of quality with a “right first time” mentality.

Unaffected by Brexit (although could even benefit if pound tanks on no deal as earnings in dollars).

Strong buy and hold.

This is primed for a big move northwards. I’m in and excited. Lots more upside than down imo.

Could easily wake up to find sfo dropping case against PFC due to insufficient evidence/not in public interest etc etc.

Even if not, the damage a fine could do has already been priced in (more than once) and lets not overlook a potential bid at these attractive low sp/mcap.

Stupidly oversold, strong buy for recovery.

There is BIG money to be made here this year for the patient holder. There’s a good chance a major will swallow this tiddler up now we have oil (and lots of it!). Very limited downside risk now we know the oil is there waiting to be pumped. I suspect the price will begin to reflect reality once we approach production in April and Djeno comes more into focus. I’d take a punt that, by year end, AAOG will no longer exist having been snapped up by a major for serious money.
