If a company is technically insolvent but being supported by the directors or major shareholders, because they are confident of it's future potential, the directors are legally bound to include the above statement in their report.

You invariably seem to show no idea of the goodwill internationally of the Stanley Gibbons brand.
To me, the current share price is one which the market has fixed to establish a good 2-way trade in the shares again.

As the trading update only included two figures - approximately £12m revenue for y/e 31.3.22 during which the loan was increased by £1.3m - and Guernsey and New York are still on the table without any indication of the possible costs and losses of the final outcomes, I do not expect buyers to rush in. But when the company moves forward without those two historical problems hanging over it, I feel confident of a market valuation of £80m by 30.9.27 valuing the shares at 18.5p as long as there is not a rights issue in the meantime.

Three points here Pearls.

i) Until the Guernsey court case and Malletts bankruptcy filing are completed, I would expect parties interested in investing in the huge future potential of SGI to take a guarded view. No figures have been released for the worst case scenario of Malletts and the potential loss in other subsidiaries of unrecovered inter-company balances.

ii) London International Stamp Exhibition delayed from 2020 is being held 19th to 26th February 2022. During the exhibition, the 1 cent magenta will be on display at 399, Strand NOT at the exhibition.

iii) Stampex 2022 Exhibition is being held 28th September to 1st October 2022.
