The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
The issue isn’t finding ppl it’s the new government regulations that have made it very difficult for ppl to start working quickly.. airlines have been complaining about that and the government promised to sort it out by June.. that was some time in April.. so that’s why I am expecting a much smoother operation by July.. the problem u r referring to touches nhs mostly, airlines don’t really have these issues, it was mostly created by new government regulations regarding safety etc
They already agreed to Tralee addition 600kbpd from July if I recall correctly.. US will be pushing them for more.. the issue I have with the price of oil is that it’s not justified.. Russia has only cut down their production by 9% and are still selling millions of bpd to China/India who are hoarding reserves.. US can easily release additional 50-70mb and bring the price down to $50-60 but it seems like countries are happy to see their own ppl suffer with prices going crazy everywhere
Jtan, even if the war carries on, the minute media loses interest in it, and opec start flooding europe with oil, prices will drop to about $70-80 range and that’ll be enough for world economy to start moving forward again
Article posted by bbc yesterday said that easyjet is now operating up to 1700 flights a day.. airport chaos isn’t even near its peak and 60,000 vacancies in the industry that are being taken up slowly thanks to our idiotic government.. covid checks are causing a massive problem in our airports and at this stage I don’t know why anyone would do this.. so if by July even 20k ppl get their new jobs, we all could see better operations at airports
If I recall correctly last time we hit 439, the whole sector is being murdered right now, but this is an amazing entry point.. oil will drop off after opec open the tab and oil starts filling up the reserves again, so this issue is temporary and easy are hedged.. cancellations are also temporary, staff numbers will get back to normal.. management should take full responsibility for Ill preparations, 0 professionalism.. still expecting to see at least £7.50 by last week of July
Full flights at rock bottom prices lol u can’t make this up.. just in case u didn’t know, when demand exceeds supply usually prices increase.. I just can’t believe that air traffic controllers would do strikes now, that’s just so dump and counterproductive
That is the dumbest analogy I’ve seen today.. give it a rest, anyone with more than 2 brain cells can see it’s a clear buy at these lvls, demand is through the roof, so much so that they can’t cope with it and greed is taking over.. oil is hedged so expenses this Q won’t be up.. expecting a big profit this Q
This is only going one way and market knows it.. if we dont get another spike in covid cases, number of flights will increase to accommodate demand.. I was hoping for £7/8 by September, but seeing these numbers now I’ll be unhappy with anything less than £9
The way they handled this situation is much better than a few weeks ago.. I see this as a positive.
A spokesperson for easyJet told The Independent: “Over the next week we will be operating around 1,700 flights per day, with around a quarter of these operating to and from Gatwick.
“We have taken the decision to make advance cancellations of around 24 Gatwick flights per day starting from tomorrow 28 May until 6 June.
This just shows that they can’t cope with a huge demand, next Q results will be spectacular
U can see it in their results released few days ago.. inflation aside, the prices are very high.. government projection showing that spending will slow down drastically, but it doesn’t look likely atm, may be next year, but this summer ppl are going crazy and booking everything
Have seen the results? Only way this will hit 250 is if we get another global pandemic.. otherwise this is heading north and will do so all the way through summer. Demand is the highest it’s ever been
