The airline did not put a number on how many flights would be lost, but said it would now fly about 87 per cent of 2019 levels in the three months to the end of June, down from the 90 per cent it forecast in May. In the following quarter this would rise to 90 per cent, down from a previous expectation of 97 per cent.
All that matters, definitely back to profit
Nigel, u don’t seem to understand that oil price right now is inflated and doesn’t represent the true market value.. Russia has been selling oil to India and China so there isn’t really any shortage of oil, and Arabs will open the tap again due to pressure from US.. politicians will react very soon, if they don’t ppl will vote them out… in march majority were pro Ukraine, however now that life has become very expensive, majority no longer care and just want to live a life they can afford.. this hysteria and high oil prices won’t last
I love it when ppl come up with predictions like that.. 8-10 years for sp to recover to lvls during covid in 2021 while having the same demand as in 2019 lol seems like no one even bothers to research anymore, the see a fall in sp and start making up their own random predictions why it’s all doom and gloom
Airport provides assistance not easyjet.. and Gatwick airport already announced that this didn’t happen due to shortage of staff.. one person was assisting 3 ppl down the trap and Gatwick said that it’s normal, investigation underway.. nothing to do with easyjet whatsoever
I see green boxes, the resident clown is at full force today, must be again fixating on the todays price and talking about how we are all doomed lol.. will be interesting to see what happens from the first week of July, hopefully all the cancellations would’ve been a difference and we will see much better operations by then.. also expecting more ppl to be employed as it takes around 90 days for them to be put into work after all the checks, and at the end of march easyjet started hiring in big numbers again
Darren u don’t seem to understand that I am not planning on selling my shares today lol nor tomorrow.. I don’t care for 5% difference in my buy in price.. markets will bounce, they always do.. bottom has been hit, and there’s only one way this is going long term.. again I don’t care about the sp tomorrow or next week
Darren you must have some mental problems buddy, for the last time I don’t care that the sp is at these lvls I bought below £5 and am very happy with that.. I know what will happen in few weeks time and can very patiently wait for that.. I’ve seen market melt downs many times and I know what happens after, so good luck to u, ull need it
I wouldn’t call sub £5 too high lol I will double my money in 5 weeks time, and I don’t base my investments on what’s posted online, only muppets like u do that.. are u looking for some sort of pat on the back for saying that the sp will drop? Are u still gonna be posting here if the sp will be above £5.50 in 2 weeks time? Time will tell
Darren that’s just for u:
40 flights per day in and out of the UK would be affected by the cancellations, The Guardian reported, citing a spokesperson for the airline. If 40 flights are cut for the rest of June, roughly 680 flights in total will be cancelled.
EasyJet operates around 1,700 per day in and out of the UK.
That’s 1700 per day, do u understand what that means in terms of revenue, or are u too stupid to see what’s in front of u.. last year in the summer we hit £11 on hype alone.. now inflation, currency fluctuations plus oil at $120 have brought the markets down in general, not just easyjet, and this kind of hysteria ends very quickly, and the bounce will also be very quickly.. I’ll be bk here at the end of July to say, I told u so.. good luck
Darren I couldn’t care less what i was told.. for me 5-10% change makes no difference.. the facts I have in front of me are that we are looking to have record number of flights and if management sorts out some of the problems we will be seeing a big profit in Q3 and that will swing the sp.. so I am happy to sit and wait till end of July to make a lot of money, simple
