A delay if any due to the ports is nothing compared to the increased demand for these masks due to this new variant - this is a scary development. The demand for these masks and potential other products will be astronomical. It’s frustrating the constant delays but mark my words when this gets going the rise will be insane! The start date may be delayed for a matter of days but the need for these products has just been extended greatly!

@partypooper you really are clutching at straws !! Please explain why the antiviral layer test - which proved it killed 90% of covid for a minimum of 7 hours was a basic test? The antiviral layer is all important - that’s what sets p2f apart from the rest! How does an addition of a antiviral layer that kills 90% of covid not reduce your exposure to the virus? Please answer my question re Volz rather than avoiding them.

Partypooper please give a valid answer as to why Volz, a major mask manufacturer and air filtration company would invest time and money into (as you suggest) completely useless antiviral nanotechnology? Why would they be willing to add this to other mask types and be in discussions with a ‘number of initiatives’ (more than likely air filter). Are they doomed? Should they have consulted you first? Of course p2f masks will not eliminate all risks that you have described no one is claiming that as no masks do - however they do significantly reduce these risks - less active virus = less exposure !!

Why would volz be snapping p2fs hand off to be able to use the tech? I’m sure volz know a lot more than you do PP in terms of whether there is a need for it.
