Excuse my naivety, I understand the financial meaning of BOO [barrel of oil} currently sitting at about 64usd.
I have learned that BOE barrels of oil equivalent ,means the amount of energy that a barrel of oil contains.
For gas, we assume 6000 cubic feet of gas has the same, equivalent energy, as a barrel of oil.
My question is, what is the value of 6000 cubic feet of gas. I see gas is priced today at $2.9 per MMBtu
