N1 - my last post, but just to say that I was talking about what aspects I look at, to buy intitially -- not what might now happen to this company. Of course, those outcomes that you mention, are definite possibilities. BUT were I to be looking at this company today to invest in, then I would not go near it with a barge pole - hopefully like many others....hopefully! Sadly, so many here are now trapped, having failed to exit in time. Anyway, Good Luck to you. 😊

Most however, fail. This is a failing company and is priced accordingly. But if that fits your personal criteria, then by all means remain invested. Each tontheir own.

Slacker246 - the way I see it, is when I invest, I look at the following key criteria:

a) is there strong top-line growth (sales)?

b) is there strong bottom-line growth (profit)?

c) is what's 'in-between' top and bottom (costs) reasonable and not excessive?

d) is the company a key/dominant player in its own market space?

e) is there a talented Board of Directors leading this organisation?

f) how much debt (long and short term) is the company servicing?

If they are all negative, then I move on to a more successful and better run company with better 'prospects'.

To SDRY then:

a) NO

b) NO

c) NO

d) NO

e) NO

f) LOTS

So, I guess, if you have cash in this company, then you are (a) either rainbow chasing (in the hope that this company will reverse all of the above criteria, (b) already in too deep and nursing hefty losses (that's 80% of folk here), due to failing to exit in time, OR (c) 100% in the wrong game here and should therefore take up golf or fishing. ATB

The share price is £18.75. So, why is it showing above as £18.40?! That is not correct. . .🤪

@hash. Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant as a listed company. It may well be 'around' - but not as a Plc. It's future is exceptionally uncertain as a Plc.

One small snag. This company won't be here come September Munichmann.

superdry has been a total disaster, for so many, but literally, anything 'could' happen here.

so, why not take whatever positives you can from what has been a total **** show, this week? 9.9p is a very good closing price, as you rightly say. . . .😃

It will news of some sort, however minimal; as it's simply not going to levitate of its own accord. News next week - of a positive variety?

I've wondered that a few times and not just here. It's 100% £18.62 as I just did a dummy sell with Barclays. Very Odd!!

Not so sure Rayte. An after hours RNS is a possibility of course, but I doubt that the 900k sell, is a 'sign' of anything imminent this evening. Like last week, they simply wouldn't know; so probably just a vanilla nervous bod not wanting to hold over the weekend. . .

Rock - the MM's as you will doubtless have noticed, have been doing that every couple of days here. They raise it, people get excited (see a couple of earlier posts here!), buy in to it, thinking something is about to break. The MM's off-load a ton of unwanted stock, then drop it back again...thank you very much!! Gotta love a Market Maker eh?!!

To date at least, it's worked very sweetly for them, each and every time! Crafty Buggers!!

EvolveiMS - just be careful that the BoD don't pull another 'after hours' RNS stunt this evening; literally would not put it past them. Leaving folk high and dry over the weekend again. . . .

Those four RNS's after hours last week, seem a very, very long time ago now. The damage that they have inflicted on this company (not just share price wise, but also very much from a reputational damage perspective), is off the scale. Unbelievable really. Scary too.

Laura2022 - I guess there isn't very much that they can say really. Other perhaps than "trading continues well, with sales in-line and as previously stated"? That would provide at least 'some' comfort to people and surely help to underpin the current share price? Yet the silence this week, has been deafening and given what has gone on, pretty unusual; at least by my experience. So, who knows?! They could throw out a newsworthy RNS and it all kicks off again in the right direction. Quite literally 'anything' might happen with this one; especially 'if' there is some favourable media commentary . . .
