Hmmmmm. Nothing wrong with these results but perhaps nothing particularly right (as in above and beyond) either.

I do however like this part:-

"Adjusted diluted EPS1 of 15.1p compared to 11.9p in 2024 representing growth of 30%. Statutory diluted EPS of 22.2p (2024: loss of 6.1p)".

I therefore expect a pretty muted response by the Market today. But then again, they may like the fact that the ship is 'sailing steady'!! ATB

Affrm - if they elected to take this 'private', you wouldn't be offered 9.55p let alone 25p! Not a Chance. You would be screwed down with a pitiful offer, just like Superdry did, when they went private. This company is a disgrace; it is very happy to take the money, but not at all happy to keep those people and organisations 'informed'.

So, it will be AFTER the Market has closed, presumably so that 'they' can take the weekend to work it all through. . . .

Currently beng covered on the BBC Breakfast Show, with a decision being released "later this afternoon".

The Market is clearly 'sitting on its hands' for today, in readiness to move CBG either up or down tomorrow.

Here are the facts to back up the story:

FTSE250 (over 5 years) UP 28.80% - Ocado DOWN 84.77%

FTSE250 (over 1 year) UP 1.76% - Ocado DOWN 23.08%

FTSE250 (over 6 months) UP 4.83% - Ocado UP 2.70%

FTSE250 (over 5 days) DOWN 0.93% - Ocado DOWN 8.69%

As you can therefore clearly see, Ocado does not track the FTSE250 - not by any stretch.

MKS123 - This isn't falling back so hard, because of the FTSE as it isn't aligned and hasn't been for years. It was pumped and dumped. Witness all the excitable puppies that showed up on results day and have all now left. Sentiment drives this share and it is very very fragile still; hence the further falls today.

The BIG problem here is that so few could take advantage and sell at £3.50p because they would still have been heavily underwater, even at that level. This has been a total disaster for 90%+ who invested in this Company. That said. most PI's are very poor sellers (they get greedy and or/emotionally involved).

Ocado WILL come back to a more sensible level, but it needs meaningful 'news', now that the euphoria of the Results has vapourised.

Harsh I know, but that's how this game goes with stocks that are so out of 'favour'. . . ATB

I personally would only buy back at sub £3. Worth keeping in mind that the market is looking a bit frothy at present. So, again, I am expecting a small correction. But we shall see, as it's soon to be August, so it will be pretty quiet anyway. Banked my profits, so it's a relaxing watch for me. . . .

That close is a total travesty, given todays' stunningresults.

However, I 100% guarantee, that £1.50 is our floor. The UT this evening is a bit of a 'red herring', but I'm very comfortable that FTC will build from £1.50.
