I think people need to pull themselves together or get out because there seems to be a complete lack of perspective. I know it's tough with the SP where it is and trust me I'm hurting too but some of the more petulant comments about the company are ridiculous. There are two conflicting facts - first that we have made great operational progress but also that the market is refusing to recognise it. Both are irrefutably true so it's the PI's choice whether to believe that LR & MC can take the independent reports and deliver for shareholders or whether the market is correct in it's valuation of EUZ. I'm going with the series of independent unemotional reports which indicate to me that this project is worth many, many multiples of £3m.

There will probably be a scientific explanation of the Loch Ness Monster before you solve that puzzle Lloyd. Thought we might get the second met cycle today so disappointed there's nothing to counter what is likely to be another rough day in the markets generally. I think it's obvious now that (even allowing for Christmas) they're spending a lot longer on 025 than 024, will be interesting to find out why.

Agree Newbie for once a fair play down day but carnage all over the place today, nothing to do with EUZ specifically. We should be getting positive news on second cycle of zinc and 025, would be a shame if these macro issues overshadow the newsflow.

Yep Bricks good point and lot's to look forward to in the near term.

My guess is Bricks, that he originally wanted to do the op's update on completion of 025 as he could have framed the new strategy much more positively if there have been some interesting results. Just from comments I think he felt under pressure to update and so we had the strategic update announced without anything else substantial and new to say. We all wanted an update of course but perhaps collectively we would have been better off waiting a bit longer IMO.

Oh and 025 completion could come at any time of course. Even allowing for Christmas they've spent a lot longer on 025 than 024 so I wonder if we've done a bit more with it. perhaps another wedge?

Certainly 2nd locked cycle for zinc is due B1ll, then they'll set about the deleterious elements. A bit more of an unknown, for me anyway is when we'll hear about by-products. LR seemed to be hinting in the last interview that we have something in addition to the silver which could give us a non-dilutive way of progressing.

Evening all, Garwool this is an interesting one and we've had mixed messages as you noted. I won't go into it forensically but my take is that they are positioning themselves for possible JV / offtake arrangements while retaining a preference for complete sale. On the www.proyectotoral.es conversation my best guess is Jesus' response is keeping the party line, we're not in a 'please come and buy me' situation but as MC said the silver gives us 'optionality', reading between the lines of the last LR interview there could also be something else in the mix.

Sorry Bricks - living in SA you may not have heard of Swampy. He was a protestor I think originally against the building of a bypass somewhere who became a bit of a figurehead for that movement.

Hi Bricks I'm with you 100% if it was simply Emerita alone, but with their current relationship with Aldesa they just might see Toral as a way to fast track their joint ambitions. Certainly interesting that a local has heard this rumour and while it's just one voice good to hear support on the ground for the project. Although I do have some 'Swampy' sympathies myself can you imagine that engagement board in this country, it would have crashed in 5 minutes with talk of rare orchids, endangered bats, near-extinct newts and a never before heard of Roman mosaic.

From their May 2019 presentation "Major global zinc deposits have been mined out, new deposits have not replaced them resulting in a sustained shortage of zinc concentrate". Emerita's current projects go to the smelter on the north coast of Spain near Toral so it would be a natural fit, however from what I can tell I don't believe they have the financial muscle to buy Toral.

Interesting as on 10th Jan someone asks if they're negotiating a sale, then on the 12th Jesús (IMO playing the party line) says no they're looking to get to pre-feasibility and develop the project, though open to participation with partners. The enquirer then apologises saying they thought Emerita Resources were interested in Toral. Could that be the local word 'en la calle'?????

Feb 2010 at £928-18 for me. Looking back to my surprise I was doing quite a good of trading it back then which I had completely forgotten about. My mistake was thinking the start of the slide was a blip. Having participated in the 5p raise I feel like I've been in my own version of The Long Walk Back, but see this as a hold now. If the GP keeps going we could seriously eat into the debt this year and maybe 2021 even a dividend play again.

Yes I was only joking too Face, I've also noticed a few slippery fish I recognise from elsewhere who will be ramping like hell and then no doubt undergo a sentiment transplant overnight.
