We'll see how the week pans out mfm, even if we retrace it won't dent my confidence in a superb long term outcome for investors, but I am cautiously impressed how strongly the SP held up this afternoon. Certainly some bitterness surfacing today, anyone who didn't want to tough it out and is wishing ill on holders would do well to go quietly, a pretty unedifying performance in certain quarters today. On a lighter note it seems we needn't have bothered with the drilling, assays, JORC and metallurgy, total waste of time and money, just book some meetings with the Mayors and it's job done!

Well it's been a long time since anyone paid the same as DB and the Directors back in August 20. Will be interesting to see if we hold these levels or do the traditional EUZ thing and finish red. Does feel a little different as on other days like this we've normally achieved that feat by 12 noon :) Let's get the news to back this up, I can't believe this is just down to the Mayors having a nose around, thought they should have been wearing their ceremonial garb at the meeting anyway - very poor.

Are we getting into speeding ticket territory? I really think the Nomad should play fair and on the basis of the mcap being so low should one be necessary? We're still well below institutional support at 12.75p so a re-rate is entirely logical without all the "We know of know material reason....." blah blah. They'll probably make us issue one out of force of habit though.

Mayors nationalising EUZ :)

Sounds like a prudent strategy grappa but I'm hoping for a much higher range before doing anything with my holding. Would be interesting to know what the company has to say about the mayors comments, anyone asked?

Grappa - no doubt there is some pumping going on but there are strong evidence based reasons why this is massively undervalued. If you have bailed on this rise good luck elsewhere.

Trade, streamlining supply chains is a big buzz, particularly in Europe. It's not just commodity security but carbon targets. Sounds like the mayors want our products processed locally and to feed into the regions manufacturing industry. Almost sounds like a public / private partnership.

Well we don't have a shortage of unhappy holders so there should be plenty of sellers. I wonder if there is anything substantial behind this or are we just coming out of the Bermuda Triangle and back onto the radar at long last? I do think the news article was significant, LR gets a lot of flak but he's always nurtured the local engagement and it could be paying off for shareholders finally.

Bit tricky to predict the assays dnd. Usually they come back about one month from the end of the drilling campaign but it looks like cores are being sent as they go along this time so could be different. I've been thinking about this line from the first par of that story, "The mayor of Carucedo, Alfonso Fernández, and the mayor of Toral de los Vados, Pedro Fernández, have spoken of the need that when the zinc, lead and silver deposit that the Europa Metals company is promoting is exploited, a factory is opened in the Bierzo that transforms this product in the Bierzo, and not in other places". I wonder if something has been lost in translation and "transforms" should read "smelts". Are the mayors calling for a smelter to be built on the strength of the Toral asset? This is blimmin incredible if true, I've mentioned before that one of our final hurdles is establishing smelter compatibility at which point we'll finally get complete transparency on the impurities, does this explain why we're still waiting? Sounds like the mayors could be proposing a bespoke smelter in the district, that's got green grant cash written all over it as we wouldn't be carting ore up north for smelting. Anyone know a native Spanish speaker as this lead does rather depend on "factoria" and "transforme" being reasonable substitutes for smelter and smelts, I'm getting "horno de fundición" as the proper word for smelter on Google...... just double checked I haven't made an embarrassing slip and "horno" is apparently a kiln :)

This is undoubtedly related to the meeting with mayors reported on Twitter. Toral as a geographical ridge is a historical boundary between municipalities and I think we intersect three. Seems like the fight is on to see who gets the biggest slice of the economic activity resulting from a mine, really think this is about to get crunchy. If LR's next podcast is broadcast from the Cayman Islands rather than Croydon.... blast off :)

Depends how you look at it dnd. Annoying if for instance you want a quick rise, worrying even if you think the mcap is a true reflection of EUZ's worth or a wopping gert opportunity if you don't. I know what I think but I admit I am getting a little tired of 'topping up opportunities'.

Bit over the ISA allowance I think CHRI5P :) also when I've requested a bed & ISA I've seen two trades, the sell and then the buy back slightly higher, I do think it was a transfer of some kind though. Hi trade I'm always optimistic but I feel we need something above and beyond the normal superb operational progress to ignite this, history certainly suggests so. I'm hopeful that copper will come onto the agenda as I think (could be wrong) that the early years zone where we are drilling now corresponds to those 2018 Cu hits, funding obviously the other potential biggy as we all know.

It's possible it was a worked sell as I agree a buy should have moved the market but equally given our average volume I would have expected a sell of that size to have done more damage. That's why my best bet is some kind of transfer between entities, having tried to mug up on XOFF trades I wonder if a movement of stock to a mm on JSE is a possibility. Just a guess and certainly not something I know a great deal about.

I was referring to a comment from a week or so ago when someone said something along the lines that they'd been trying to sell out for ages but could only get 100 or so away at a time and sometimes couldn't get a quote at all. Have a look back, maybe they were just pi**ed off and hyperbole crept in but I can't accept that it was that difficult to sell when my experience was so different.

Just for everyone else as Bobby is taking some time away from the board :) I think it's reasonable to be suspicious when someone says they can't sell but you can sell a chunk easily. As I said I only have a 'High Street' (remember that.....) account, just like most of us. There may be many platforms but there are only a handful of MM's dealing EUZ. Your broker will automatically offer you the best price on a sell from the quotes returned so if I see someone saying they haven't been able to sell more than 100 at a time for weeks and sometimes no quote at all and that is completely contradictory to my experience testing the market then I have good reason to be cynical.

Oh for heaven's sake Bobby - yes I think that would be for the better if you did have a little time to reflect. You've managed to make a series of posts getting all worked up over nothing. You haven't even said anything about EUZ yet but have gone into meltdown, seriously are you okay?
