Take articles in the daily mail with a huge pinch of salt, they ran an article a couple of years ago headlining 'my solar panels have increased my electric bill' and had the unfortunate man photographed standing in front of his air source heat pump. Green subsidies have been on the wan for a while, nothing new and it is solar and onshore wind that has taken the brunt of it. We will see what the cfd's being in a couple of months.

Fair enough, think the potential is more than that, am awaiting the results to see how much has been added since the last update, but going on past performance I would expect it be something between a 'lot' and a 'heck of a lot'! Um, wow, here we are waiting for a progress report on 1A and they hit us with another positive rns about something else! I liked the wording about it being a natural progression without taking away from the focus on Meygen, that is exactly what we need. And a big part about how many potential projects they have lined up. Almost back to where we were mid December, couple more days of positivity, then when 1A news hits we might get back up to year high levels. I can but hope!

Nice 20.3 million euro investment announcement towards Phase 1B. Really would like an update on 1A as to how the others are progressing as Twitter has been a bit quiet on that front, but I guess they would be starting back properly this week after xmas.

it dropped to around 32p super quick, then there was a 100k buy which stopped the drop, has hovered around this level since, so not sure if that 100k was on the promise of more if they can keep the price down.

C.eng, stop agreeing you are ruining my point! Unfortunately I do somewhat agree with what you said as well. I believe ARL are right product, right time, the important bit for me is whether they can pull it off and make it work (with the hurdles placed by landscape and government), I guess herein lies our punt, pull it off and we have got in relatively early and should do well out of it, but there isn't really a plan b, so fail and we lose! I believe this is the definition of a binary share. I have stepped in a bit earlier than I would normally, judgement clouded slightly by personal reasons, but not clouded too much to throw all caution to the wind (tide?), I have set up for a stake build, but only taken the first step in it. Wait with baited breath on announcements from 1A and the start of 1B, then re-evaluate in due course.

Good post C.eng, what I suspect (and it is only conjecture) is that they were looking to do gravity systems first (because it works), and have a little test/look at the bed conditions to see if piling is an option, easier to do with relative ships and personnel there working rather than a special trip. Who knows we may get halfway through 1B and they decide to go back to gravity! I appreciated Stroma's post in the observations from the ground (sea?!) and these boards are for putting opinions/ideas out there for discussion but you do need to appreciate others may not be of the same viewpoint, and that is where the debate comes from. It would be very boring if we were all of the same thoughts and opinions as there would be nothing to write apart from rampy rubbish to persuade board viewers into believing they were looking at the next big thing. I would like an rns showing what and why they are doing what they are doing, but it is also Xmas, and no-one works in the construction industry during this period, so we will have to wait for a few days to see what we are told. If only they thought about how they are going to actually fit the turbines, for example fitting 4 turbines to start with two different manufacturers to see if anything needs modifying, then fitting another 4 using the lessons learnt from the first batch, then once they are sure about it all fit up to another 49. With the door open for another couple of hundred. Oh hang on, that's exactly what they are doing! One of the reasons for my investing is because they do appear to know what they are doing both technically and businessly. Drop recently due to impatience as I see it, rise upon news in the new year (I hope!). GLA.

How many groups of 500 and 1000 sells? Those results can't come round quick enough as I hate seeing this drop consistently whilst still believing it will come back up, my positivity is turning into blind optimism! Might need to get some paid rampers in, um...... great time to buy, gonna boom soon, don't want to miss the boat. I feel dirty writing that even with my tongue firmly wedged in my cheek!

Yeah, I was expecting all to be in this year, but they worded the RNS's very carefully (first power this year, which they achieved!), so it is just a waiting game for us now to see if it all starts up again next week. Hopefully Stroma will keep us updated!!
