They should change their name to broken promises or missed deadlines! I appreciate that small mining companies can miss deadlines, but CGO have missed every deadline they've ever set! I'm not sure what the future holds for CGO. I have gone from feeling positive about a turnaround in 2025 to feeling pretty bleak.

I’ve overlooked many red flags with this company, focusing instead on the size of the resource. However, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Huo Investments is now the largest shareholder in CGO, so their interests align with the company. Yet, they can't even make the royalty payment on time or, as the mine operator, get production news released to support the share price! Also, we need news on debt, either repayments or new agreements! Very annoyed investor here with a large holding.

Doubtful. I've been invested here for over two years, and they've never kept to a deadline! The royalty was expected in December 2024, then January 2025, and next, it will be in February! If they release good news and the SP breaks and closes above 1.5p then the SP should finally re-rate!

Yeah, hopefully they confirm they’ve been paid the remainder of the royalty payment and have used this recent money to pay down the debt. I’m also hoping for a new debt agreement and some production numbers.

I think a few more positive news releases should help lift this SP from the doldrums, but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet!

The extra shares are 'fee shares' as stated in the prospectus, which is available to read on their website.

Hopefully we’ll get the $2 million from the share subscription and the first royalty payment by the end of December, but with this company you never know! Even though it will mostly go on paying down the debt it will at least start the ball rolling in the right direction. And be good to see figures of some steady coal production. The last two years have been a painful hold but hoping 2025 will be better.

I also topped up before the suspension to lower my average and got some funds put aside to buy more. Should start getting a stream of positive news from now.

Hopeful of a turnaround here. The deal has put the company on a much stronger path. Surprised people are taking a punt, as should see a 100% rise in the SP over the coming months.

Yeah I think it’s a good deal considering what could have happened. It will take some time to fully develop the planned operations but it’s now a good long term play, with funding onboard. Think it will rerate over the coming weeks/months to 3p.

I’m surprised the SP hasn’t gone higher with the announcement of the Chinese money. Maybe people are waiting for official confirmation given the history here.

Exactly, it’s a good deal with all things considered. What were the other options, not getting any news this quarter, or just signing a few small offtake agreements. Apart from a full takeover, this is probably as good as we could have got at this stage.
