The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Sundance thanks for your concern. My faith in Graham is as strong as ever and we are still making progress as the final set of ducks are aligning nicely. I have resigned myself to the fact that the journey would take a bit longer than envisaged but the fundamentals get stronger by the day. The fact we have the capacity to supply the European grid at a time when Europe is desperate for alternative supplies could the the icing on our cake. The Manta of "in Graham we trust" has endured testing times but he has now proven to me that he has more than deserved the faith that some of us have always had in him. There are interesting times ahead so strap yourselves in and enjoy the rest of the ride. The Share price will take care of itself.
Pebsi of course there are merits investing in Aim companies long term. I do agree that they do tend to go up and down by some eye watering amounts but if you specifically take OMI then it's well worth a long term investment due to its low MCAP, balanced portfolio in metals and also the potential for some much needed stability when the institutions start investing. There are no guarantees but given our position we have a better chance of growth from here compared to other juniors out there in my opinion.
Well put value. I'm as frustrated as the next man and miffed with Brad who I now view as a bit of a clown but have always maintained that we will come good despite Brad and not because of him. The indicators have now made me realise that we will come good but the timescale will be longer than I first envisaged. This will end up making a lot of money for those with the patience to stay with the journey.
Mr digit it's not a distortion of the truth at all so stop it with the semantics. He did state that old chestnut and told us not to expect him to hoover up all the shares so no distortion there. Either way it was unprofessional of Brad to answer in that manner as his flippant attitude did nothing the promote confidence for present investors or for the wider market. He should be rightly criticized when taking into consideration his wide audience and you are now seeing the reaction today on how his performance has been perceived.
The SP will drift down possibly into single figures as there is nothing imminent to be announced that will stop this trend. It's bad enough having to endure a bland RNS when we were anticipating more but I didn't like Brad's whole attitude to the question of buying shares stating that old chestnut and then telling us don't expect him to hoover the shares up. He was totally unprofessional how he conducted himself on that one and it certainly did nothing to add any confidence for those presently invested or the market in general.
Biker just because someone ramps a company does not mean they are not worth listening to.
There are several long termers on OMI who have the long term experience and have taken the time to do some very detailed research as well as enguage fully with the board. You can dismiss the facts they post if you wish but you would be foolish to do so when some of these posters are publishing facts based on hard evidence and first hand contact with the OMI board members.
Interesting view biker. It has been a traders dream thus far due to circumstances but that is about to change. The portfolio is in place now and the foundations here are now far stronger compared to previously so we are entering a new era with PR improving. In my opinion this share will now become more stable especially when we start attracting the institutional investors. So to answer your question then yes I'm an investor here and have not traded any but I'm also aware of other investors that have done exactly the same.
Trouble is nookie the price might have doubled by then.
Junior miner Orosur Mining visiting the pategonia area looking for projects. A JV might be on the cards.
Hmm although it's not the transformational news Brad was alluding too and let's be honest there must be more and bigger to come to live up to Brads claim, he did state a few things need to fall into place and I suspect this is one of his ducks that are now aligned with others to follow.
In reality we knew the tin deal was more on or less signed so it might explain why official confirmation did not set the market on fire.
Sotolo we may have an opiniated boss but he hasn't been offering many opinions for a good while now.
Let's not forget this can hit 25 to 30p in a day on good news and we have seen huge daily rises in the past. The difference now is it's now more sustainable with everything now in place.
That's another duck lined up. Well done to Graham and the board.
Karl not too much crying at all.
Brad promised a news rich period which did not materialise. He has presided over the SP being at a year 0lowvand wants is to approve more share options to a board that have under performed.
Get real
Bench I think it's a bit more than a small glimmer of light. Graham has transformed our position when many were writing him off. I'm quite sure he will see this through to a position of the company generating income. It won't happen overnight as we know but slowly and surely he is on the right path to success.
We know Brad reads the company twitter account yet there is very little comment on there in relation to the boards plans to increase share options.
I would hate to think Brad would gauge that there was hardly any opposition to his plans based on the lack of comments so feel free to let him know by posting some on twitter link below.

I'm voting against any proposals that in future have the potential to water down the price further. With so many investors way underwater due to the SP being talked down it is an insult that he is contemplating this type of move at this time. Brad keeps telling us the company will soon be transformed so prove it first and I will consider your proposals.
Although there are no guarantees you would think that the chances of us being penalised by the outstanding tax bill are diminishing by the day. Morocco is now more desperate than ever to attract foreign investment to develop their assets and any high profile row about tax would be the last thing they would want to promote at this time.
Soorbirs it may fall back at some point as nothing goes up in a straight line but with the foundations looking stronger by the day, the falls should be less and the trajectory will hopefully carry on rising
