The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Awesome! Where are you based Sauer?
Any day where the SP closes up is a good day IMHO!
Just a feeling. Oil is holding well this morning. The new CEO starts tomorrow. Asian markets are trading higher. Markets closed well last night and some positive economic reports in the states re. housing purchases increased 44%. The secretary of the treasury in the US stated that the economy is in a strong position to recover etc. Not directly related to oil, but anything from the states seems to have a knock on to eveything else. By positive I mean a steady increase in SP. Most of all, there has been no significant bad news. Shhhh!!! Lol.
Today is going to be a good, good day (6 hours ahead of UK here).

We certainly will have the last laugh. I can't wait to see what the next few weeks bring. Good luck to you sir!
I'm in Thailand, so probably a few hours ahead of most of you guys. Thanks to the majority of you who post some very interesting stuff. I'm no expert in share dealing and I read much of what's posted on here with interest. Keep posting the useful stuff everybody. I'm bowing out for the evening and going for a nice cold beer.
Have a great weekend everybody and good luck for next week. I believe great things are just on the horizon...

Lol. I didn't filter you yet. You are pathetic. So let me get this right - the lower number of posts means that there is a hierarchy here?! The lower number of posts means views are not as important as others who have more posts? Are we in the school playground here?
You have to be the most boring person I've ever seen on here, positing the same bull sh.t again and again. Crawl back into your cage and get a life! You know the deal is done, as does everybody else.
How many shares do you hold, if any? Or... Did you get out at the wrong time and miss the boat?
Why don't you just do everybody here a favour and stop posting your monotonous, meaningless cr.p without any research or solid statistics to back it up.
Grow up. You are a joke.
Sorry canary, this is all getting very repetitive. Filtered.. .
We are edging slowly upwards again. A couple more trading days to get back in before the new CEO sets out his stall. Bring on July 1st and following that, July 15th...

The deal is as much as done. It's the best we can get in the market conditions. It's not just a case of selling it cheap. You have to look at the bigger picture - debt reduction etc. Nobody in their right mind would vote against this deal. Once it's done, tullow can move forward....
Yep, beautiful blue today...
Canary
If we hold Uganda, tullow is more likely to have serious problems and go under. Apologies if my message was abrupt, but I feel very strongly about this. I know that you do too. I guess we will just agree to disagree.
Canary
Whatever you say now is not going to cause the price to drop. Now move along. This is getting very boring. With the greatest of respect of course...
I feel this is the turning point for tullow. New CEO next week, Uganda sale approved by shareholders on 15th, POO bouncing back again today. We are in for a good opening tomorrow IMO. GLA.
Canary
Nobody in their right mind would vote against Uganda. It will happen. Deal done. Get over it!
Just looking at previous trends GG. Enough doooooooom.
Pretty disgusted by your comments earlier about the NHS guy old chap. Not cool, seriously.
Despite the doom and gloom mongers amongst us, people here have quite rightly stated that there are a lot of positives. There is a lot to look forward to in my opinion and I intend to be here when the swift upward trend kicks in within the next 2 to 3 weeks.
Back up to 33 tomorrow me thinks...
On the up....
I still have complete faith that this share will hit 40p next month. The reason it has not been moving with the POO upward trend (until THE drop yesterday of course), is due to several announcements that are due. Investors are cautious, quite rightly. Once the sale is confirmed in July, the new CEO is in place etc, then I am sure we will see an upward trend. For me personally, I hope it is a steady upward trend, rather than getting ahead of itself. Yes, I'm invested, no I'm not ramping. I'm quietly confident I will see a very very good return on my investment. In at 33p for 45,000 shares.
For all of the doom and gloomers, as we know share prices never go in a straight line so just because it lost ground yesterday doesn't mean its the end....!!! It held up yesterday considering the dramatic drop in POO. That gives me great confidence.
IMHO and DYOR.
