Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Like many others I'm rather peeved at the speed of reporting annul results, even preliminary unaudited, that might support the share price in the current Japanese torture. Makes me think they want it to go down to let their institutional mates get more cheaply, but then why would Ollie an Leon have bought at about 9p. I am interested to hear comments from others on typical, long or short periods other companies take to report.
Comments please, but the likes of Sourcream and Muckytailed need not reply unless they can give examples of recent fast reporting and name the companies.
It wants me to subscribe with cash. How about pasting the article here.
Oops sorry. Wrong site!
This site shows sp down 2% at present but 2 other apps are showing up 14% and 19%. Crazy.
Equality, see gotreal's post of 28 June indicating possible takeover bids of £1.
Would you be happy with that?
Don't cry Bushy.
Thanks Pumky. I was being dosy and do not often hold divi paying shares. It seems pointless mentioning the record date. Holding and or selling on the ex div date would get recorded anyway. We only need to know ex div and payment dates surely
Don't understand why this has tanked today. I was expecting it to tank on the record day which is tomorrow.Anyone who had bought before recent price jump could have sold yesterday at a good profit and tanke a punt on the suspension by buying again today. At least they would get most back on the 15p divi, and still have their punt shares.
Moneyman, it's no good asking Bushy to look at the past earnings as he has already said he doesn't believe in fundamentals that give past data. They are history to him. He is only interested in the future which is in his eyes is doom and gloom for the SP. No real logic to it. He just wants to buy at 6p.
Fine but Bushy was just negative on Stockopedia without justification. Stocko rates JLP with only a Stockrank of only 26/100 so Bushy would agree with that, so why be negative?
I have made money on JLP in the past, believe their "journey" is interesting and positive so am waiting for the turnaround to higher Stockranks. Bushy wants the price to go to 6p for him to buy then he will be totally positive. Only time will tell but I believe the turnaround is close, as do others.
Hi Bushy,
Well, all your other posts on this board are negative so I am not surprised at what you say about Stockopedia is also negative. All I can say is that the site presents fundamentals in an easy and quick to see way plus much other info such as news, analyst estimates etc etc. I have checked many of those with company reports and believe them accurate.
But as you are invested in HUM and are frequently pumping them you do not believe in fundamentals. A lovely rise recently but time to sell before she crashes and burns!
According to Stockopedia the latest trailing 12 month EPS is 0.535p per share, with estimate at 1p per share in 2 years (reduced from 2p). Now with the share price almost double to match or stay the same because of double dilution!!!! That is the question.......(Those estimates are fuzzy however and don't match the estimate 18% rolling 12month growth forecast indicated)
Or was it almost 10%!
Almost 14% rise today and no comments. Wondering when the temporary pump and dump crowd will get on here.
Hopefully the start of a solid recovery.
Good luck all.
Bushy, I love you. xxxooo
If we see it bouncing up and down for the next few days thats maybe a good sign of the bottom.
Orange,
Today so far the SP has just broken out of the downtrend since the beginning of the year and is hopefully to make a steady rise. Your 15p is major bargain basement support that, if this breakout continues, you may not get.
GLA
And once again they state that JLP are involved in developing mines incorrectly. To state the actual activities of JLP would help their SP.
Not enough PI's have got fed up with this yet and sold their shares, so the sp will probably continue to be held down for a while. It would be helpful if many of you sell your shares, let the IIs have them, then the rest of us can see a nice price rise.
Anyone willing to help?
Dorfan, thanks, I believe the prelim results you refer to are tucked away in the 6th Aug operations update, but they may have only come to the attention of those already familiar with JLP.
I am looking forward to the official annual results being reflected in this website, other financial sites and software such as Tradingview that may inspire new investors.
