Well the weather is now looking brighter in Xambia, without more rain in the forecast I can see. The Kariba lake level is now the highest for 5 years, indicating the increased rain JLP have had to deal with in wet season. Maybe that is causing guidance review but the imminent start of the dry season is somewhat predictable.

After catching up on the last days nonsense comments on here the one that amuses me most is Chatmandu's statement that the centrifuge building is all wrong. He is obviously not an engineer. When he sees a future photo showing a crane rail attached to the webs of the roof structure running the length of the building to the outside, to enable major parts to be lifted out, it will dawn on him. (ex petrochemical Project Engineer by the way ).

It is worth noting that the last 3 peaks and troughs have pretty much formed converging straight lines on the log chart. If that trend continues we could fall to about 4.76 before rising again to about 5.2. With normal JLP spreads it seems hardly worth trading. News could end that trend of course, whether good or not so good. It has been a long and patient wait.

Well Pt price has taken a bit of a tumble off its highs recently so let's hope sale of SA is not regretted and let's hope Cu continues upwards and JLP hits targets. Wishing you all a prosperous and happy 2026.

The presentation seems to have given confidence to some investors here, and myself. Seems definite the vote will be a "yes" and at least might settle some uncertainty and settle the market.

If the SP goes up from here we could have a near perfect chart "double bottom" and that might draw the attention of chartists who can have an affect on the SP (although many of you might disagree).

Do you remember months ago when there was lots of talk on the board about which funds were selling and why? Several posters were stating that they have to sell regardless for various reasons. I think the news over the last month or so just confirms that if funds are selling then they probably know something you don't.

The RNS stated they "expect" to issue the circular towards end July or thereabouts. So, end of September then? Or maybe end October with results. This is Leon after all.

Chat, this is all about the investor considering whether rejecting the deal will make better profits. Are you therefore saying Institutions are not interested in profits? I feel they will carry out careful analysis and vote accordingly

Many may say that Leon should renegotiate the deal due to pgm price rise since the announcement and I agree. Yes Pt has risen about 35% in the past 6 months but Cu has also gone up about 28% and reinforces the argument to sell SA and accelerate Cu with the funds. If the offer is increased to 140m the sale will not lack support.

POORS, we have a CEO in place that does not realise that making rash statements and promises that have a risk of being wrong can damage the company and it's shareholders. A good engineer yes, make him the Engineering Director, but put a CEO in place that is very commercially experienced and wise . He should be able to tone down any ambitious statements coming from the Eng Director before putting out an RNS or going on interview.
