Audi Increasing Investment into Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Schot stated that “on the European side we should really intensify development of fuel cell. I decided it last week and now we are going to put more priority into fuel cells.” Schot went on to explain that scarcity of raw materials for batteries and increased supply will eventually push any automaker serious about electrification toward hydrogen as a fuel source stating “at the end of the day, batteries are not sustainable enough — it is sustainable, but if you want to go all the way, you need fuel cells.”

Hi stokey - from the recent RNS - "I am confident that we will sign heads of terms with at least one of these in the next quarter". In the next quarter - does not state when.

A new month tomorrow so lets get some positive sentiment going.

I am expecting (note the words 'expects'!!!) an RNS when the electrodes have been shipped which I hope could be ahead of the results. This could trigger other RNS or an RNS with a broader update.

They did not say they would RNS anything. Do I think they should be updating on progress - of course I do.

I seem to recall that Gadams kindly gave a summary of David Ryan's presentation at the recent investor evening with link to follow - please correct me if I am not correct.

Anyway the link to the video is enclosed. I have watched it through and liked what I saw. Told it exactly the way it is - remember he is an engineer and so tends to be more risk averse in his choice of words.

My thinking is along the lines of Telephoneman depending on the FOAK.

The combination of Keith and David could have worked very well but due to extenuating personal circumstances this wasn't to be. Like all holders I was very impressed with the content of the Operational Update from the new CEO given that Engineers tend to over deliver and under promise as opposed to the other way around. The two week gap between the announcement also seems to have been well considered.

I was doing a little digging into Waste to Energy Gasification and came across the Global Syngas Technologies Council (GSTC) and note that its membership includes among others ABB, Inc., GE Power and Water, Linde Engineering North America Inc.? & ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions. The GTSC Waste to Energy Gasification Section states that "A number of companies are developing smaller, compact gasifiers designed to be used by cities and towns or on military bases".

So we know that David Ryan was the former CEO and Managing Director of Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions’ Oil & Gas Business Unit for the UK. The TIS website states that "We have established a global reputation as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contractor. The recent PHE RNS states "It is anticipated that engineering and site assembly of each DMG® unit will involve an EPC partner. We have been approached by several blue-chip companies who would like to be considered to fulfil this role, each with worldwide delivery capability. To support this contractual engagement, PowerHouse has already put in place all the operational systems, procurement, contractual and licensing frameworks necessary to engage with such EPC partners."

The W2T pre IPO document states "Project financing against an anticipated EPC warranty and wrap" and also that "Once the FOAK system has been proven a roll out will begin, under the auspices of Wood Group who will have right of first refusal in the UK". http://waste2tricity.com/index.html

Finally this got me thinking to David Ryan moving from TIS to PHE and I concluded that I am delighted he is at helm of Powerhouse as we move into the commercial phase.
