Hi all, I wondered what the thoughts are on the timescale for the Protos Funding. The last RNS stated:
"The next stage is to secure the funding for the Protos project which will be achieved in due course. The commercialisation of the Protos project and the development of the UK pipeline, which could be over 70 facilities, will form the springboard for the international expansion of the Powerhouse business model.”
I guess pre AGM is optimistic but interested in the thoughts on this.

Good post Southerhay - I wondered if I had missed an RNS which had negative commentary abut EV. Of course I didn't because it is all purely negative speculation. I have most of the negative bunch on filter now so you can imagine how my view looks. We know that we are getting units ready for Acciona, Extreme E and Jülich and have cash. Not really sure what posting the same negative commentary day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day achieves other than negative sentiment. Sit back relax and enjoy the journey.

Am in agreement with the positivity and growth comments. Assume this is a precursor to the funding for the build.

Just caught veloce-racing and extreme e on 5 live. Daniel Bailey the CEO was on 5 live talking about extreme e and the move to ev not just for motor sport but in general. The presenter, Adrian Chiles, talked about extreme e and Lewis Hamilton also.

General Motors is taking an 11% stake in electric truck maker Nikola, agreeing to build its hydrogen fuel cell electric pickup truck the Badger by the end of 2022.

Nikola’s shares surged by about 30% in premarket trading while GM jumped by almost 9%.

GM is getting a $2 billion stake in Nikola in exchange for in-kind services and will become the exclusive supplier of fuel cells globally outside of Europe to Nikola for Class 7/8 truck.

“This strategic partnership with Nikola, an industry leading disrupter, continues the broader deployment of General Motors’ all-new Ultium battery and Hydrotec fuel cell systems,” said GM CEO Mary Barra said in a statement.

Nikola founder and Executive Chairman Trevor Milton said the partnership gives Nikola access to GM’s validated parts as well as its Ultium battery technology and a multibillion dollar fuel cell program.

“Nikola immediately gets decades of supplier and manufacturing knowledge, validated and tested production-ready EV propulsion, world-class engineering and investor confidence,” Milton said in a statement. “Most importantly, General Motors has a vested interest to see Nikola succeed.”

Hi Stokey, the same clause has been in the last couple of AGM's so I personally don't see an issue and trust in the board.

Interesting point TakeAim - I couldn't see the dis-apply clause in 2019 AGM but it was in 2018. Interesting times ahead though. I hope LTH's and all holders are rewarded for their patience.

As you stated the company could raised circa £17M which would equate to 17% dilution if that were to happen.
As Flow stated the previous year they could have raised £9.5M but having looked they actually raised £285k plus another small raise on top of that.
I also looked at the previous year in which they could have raised £8M and carried out equity raises of circa £1.7M.
I am not sure how relevant looking back that far is as times have certainly changed and we are in a much better position and certainly more capitalised.
They have stated that they are looking at raising finance but have not stated how this is going to be done as far as I am aware and as has been stated below we will have income from FOAK and other plants when that starts to roll in.
I have been here for several years as Kenny will vouch for - all I, and others, were suggesting was that 17% dilution is not necessarily a given and that a small raise may be the chosen way forward at least in the short term as we don't have SPV details etc. We all want the same thing for PHE to be a success.
