Mike would agree its been frustrating, but to be honest my frustration has been with the BoD, sometimes slow responses to negative news and their PR team who appear to be hiding under the desk.

So Koots has resigned for personal reasons, we all know Irene has not been a fan since losing her blouse with CERP.
However the CERP assets belong to BPC, CERP no longer exists, Leo has been promoted elsewhere, so will Irene be off to grace the board related to "ooopsies" promotion ?

To us yes. but the ramifications of that tweet if it was known (by BPC) the drill was a duster prior to Friday would make it material.

We might not get over excited but some have, and I think their position is reasonable ?

Icemax I agree there is nothing new in the tweet, in fact I already posted my own opinion about the tweet and the SEC 10 -17.

But regardless some people have taken the tweet as significant, and to a degree whether they are right or not about what BPC already know. You would have to agree that IF BPC were aware P1 was a duster prior to Friday that would be pretty bad form from management. On the other hand if they have encountered hydrocarbons why not start promoting BPC ?
Its a "tight hole" so they can not just come out and say "we have hit oil"

This appears to be the line that has some people excited:

Reasoning as far as I am able to work out from the little research I have done, is that it would be logical to assume BPC would be aware of whether they have hit hydrocarbons during the drill. That is to say they knew about those hydrocarbons if they hit them prior to Fridays Tweet.

Because I have seen it mentioned that if BPC knew the drill was duster (before Friday) they would be treading very thin legal ice.
This part of the sentence "new investors can find out how significant a discovery could be" is inviting new investors to take a look at BPC and how a discovery "could be" significant.
Again if BPC know the drill to be a duster prior to the tweet they are treading thin ice.

On the other hand if they know they have hit hydrocarbons then your question is easily answered

BPC do not care if you buy at 2p or 500p, the benefit would be the increase in the SP and market cap. BPC do not receive the money paid for shares. They just increase the value of the company.
