I do not think an RNS is needed, just a simple statement from Potter would be enough.

Trek I also had my buy order in at 2.2, it was all based on the chart and book at the time. With hindsight it was a little greedy, but in my defence I do not think anyone who was looking at the chart and book pre 10am would have come to any other conclusion 2.2 by 12 noon. Then Bam it starts rebounding, I logged in and done the full bag at 2.6. I can not claim to have missed 2.5 because I did not believe that was the floor at the time.

Out of interest these "triangles" "Charts" or predictions, where do they take you too ? Pre spud, Spud, Strike ?

I think 99% feel that there will be no problem with any challenges, I could only find one statement that left me with a little doubt. As far as can be seen apart from that one statement everything appears to be water tight.
IMO I do not think it has any legs, the only way an injunction happens and JR is if there were late changes to agreements, that is to say within the last 3 months. Otherwise its on and cracking come Thursday.

Mark I doubt that very much unless the market is driven by FOMO

My reasoning is simple even investec put the SP at 3.5 with the RNS CPR on other assets. But the biggest problem will be the huge amount of sells by those wanting to sell 50% for a free carry.
There are a few who have posted here who have millions of shares who have claimed that to be their plan. If you scale that up over the full 4 billion shares thats gonna put a big dent in a 5p-7p SP

Its possible the SP could rocket if huge buys start coming in, but even if it was to hit 12p at spud that will drop off like a stone for the same reason. ATM I feel bad for those that got in at 20p many years ago, it will take a good strike for them to see a return.

Hantsome, To be fair, I did not expect the SP to drop below 3p last week so I believe those posters were genuine. However after the lawsuit bombshell I put in a sell order that evening because I expected a big fall. Almost got caught with my pants down though because I expected the fall to be in the low 2s. Ended up back in at 2.6 which gave me 13% more and some change for a beer. You only just missed at 2.5, pre 10am it looked like the bottom was gonna fall out then just after 10 there was a mass of support. Dont know if it was the IM moving or something leaky. Provided there is no more legal ramblings this week I can not see us below 3p for long at all.

Just because people have not posted here before or are new to the BB does not mean they are new to BPC.

The rampy posts you have read here RE the 25bb have their roots in a video interview where an estimate by some CPs were given about the possible amount of oil in the seismic area.

BPC have licences for drilling over the next 12 years divided into 4 year segments for each of the proposed exploration drills.
So one of the reasons for the rampy posts is that IF P1 should be a good strike then it would follow that the remaining drill locations would more likely to be produces too.
But 28bb that are mentioned in the video are figures for the whole seismic area, and so they are just possibilities not fact. BUT they are possibilities put forward by CPs so that's where the Middle East potential comes from.
Much more realistic figures can be found in the Investec booklet for the near future. Still if the estimates given by Investec are correct then 39p to 89p SP is not to be sniffed at.
Beyond the near future (over the coming 12 years) if there were multiple strikes on all the drill sites and the 28bb were to be realised then the sky is the limit for the SP.
BIMHO a farm in/out will be announced way before then if P1 is a big strike and with a super/major the SP would soar above 100p
