Guru22 - I think the key takeaway from this drill season is that the chance of success is much higher than previous drills, it is an appraisal well, so comparing past performance isn’t really a good barometer.

Buys at ASX market close were 0.0015p (0.66p UK)
UK buys are at 0.678p at time of writing

So the markets are aligned.

Maybe somebody can clear this up for me, but struggling to see the value here. You got a loss making mine, and supposedly some diamonds somewhere that will be sold to service debts. So where's the buy case?

Scot - I’m not surprised that forward selling isn’t a thing in the Australian market, as ASX is a strict market. What we don’t know is what percentage of stock was raised in each market from the placing, what I do know from others is that they were scaled back on their allocation and it was over subscribed. Looks to be trading on ASX at around the same level as London (buys we’re trading at 0.115 so 0.66p equiv.)

The stock is interchangeable from each market but I think the process to transfer it is long winded.

Having said that I suspected that ASX placees wouldn’t sell much now as they will wait for the rise into the drill… still believe that to be the case as the volume on ASX was only 86Million.

Any weakness at this price is going to be gobbled up as we speculate that the price will rise into the drill… and many were waiting on sidelines to see how ‘cheap’ this would get after the placing shares settle into the market.

Yeah.... its shady business, but where no shareholder approval is required, I guess its a non-event!

There's always a threshold they can raise without approval, and in this case they dont need approval.

Definitely forward sold in my opinion on the UK market... we saw the volume massively pick up after it was announced. We've washed through multiples of the raised amount, and that was split between both markets (not sure on the %). I don't know how ASX handles forward selling, so there may be some selling pressure on tonight's session, but as the price has pulled back to near the placing price, I'm not sure there will be massive amounts of sellers. Lots of people have been waiting for the settlement (14/02) so be very interesting to see what happens on the ASX tonight.
