I no longer have any desire to deal with Barx. They don�t care. I decided to ask SB to issue new certs for my holdings which he has done. They need to be registered at a cost of �57 per share but at least I now have the certs in digital format. At the moment, IG won�t accept them, but I�m hoping that once they are registered with Clearstream and IG become aware that the companies� listings are imminent, that they will be accepted. It�s not like there are too many other options...

It seems IG has hit a brick wall...just received the below. Guess they are sending to all those trying to transfer from Barx... Having reviewed the 3 holdings that Barclays have identified to send to us, we are unable to accept any of your current stocks. The holdings that were due to be sent to us are below with reasons why they cannot be accetped. CIC CAPITAL LIMITED - The stock cannot be identified as something we can offer. CIC CAPITAL LTD COM SHS NPV - The stock is de-listed so we cannot accept this. CIC GOLD GROUP LTD ORD NPV - The stock is de-listed so we cannot accept this. For this reason your transfer will be closed as we are unable to proceed any further. We will be in contact with Barclays to advise them of this.

Won't be selling either but it's just to have that feeling of reassurance if we can see our holdings. Hope it can all get sorted out soon

think those of us with or leaving Barx can do any more than we have. They clearly move at their own pace which makes a snail move at lightning speed! Is there any point in us contacting SB directly?

just complained to the FCA Ombudsman about the appalling service from Barclays. It has been 2 months now since they received the transfer request from IG and still nothing....

It's looking like 9 more trading days until the end of August and not a word from our friends in China....

I've just chased Barx again because my shares are not showing in my Barx account anymore and yet they have not arrived at IG. IG say that they are also chasing Barx. Sounds like we (Barx customers) are all experiencing the same issue here

does seem a bit odd to me that the CIC Capital website doesn't appear to have been amended at all in over a year. Maybe it's just me but it's not giving out any impression that the company is due to list by the end of this month...

Checked my Barx account and all my CIC portfolio has gone so hopefully they will appear in my IG account soon

You're right...better to wait until after listing for an update. I guess I was just hoping to see some sign of progress and yes I've already checked tickers on the Frankfurt exchange but to no avail. If a Barx went any slower they would be going backwards!

We should be getting close to some operational updates on the companies due to list. Would be nice to know what they have been up to recently and whether the listing process is progressing well. Presumably there will be new ticker codes....

It is indeed frustrating although I was happy with the response I received this morning from Alan Bruce. Continued pressure from us all should hopefully speed up the process! Should we be getting some news on listing soon???

Good morning I have spoken with my colleagues in the transfers team and they have confirmed that they have received the transfer paperwork. In most cases where the stock has no current value the transfer would not be able to be completed however I have explained the situation based on your previous e-mails regarding your CIC Capital and CIC Gold stock being listed on the Frankfurt exchange. The transfers team will liaise with IG to ensure the transfer is completed as soon as possible.

I opened the IG accounts online and was given the account numbers once the application process was complete. It took less than 5 minutes. As soon as the accounts were open they called to ask if they could help with anything and sent me the forms to enable the transfer from Barx. All very smooth
