We have been manipulated down to the 155 floor from the 320+ level ie more than 50% the value of a healthy company, following a drop in silver of around 20%. We have now been parked to the 155 / 165 floor for a least a couple of weeks. Interesting to see if it is to allow an Institutional Investor to unload further shares or to allow someone to fill up their boots for the next leg up.

I read with interest your messages in the last couple of years. Like you I have become very negative with the stock market having constantly made £1K profits followed by £2k losses. I am out too as this morning, as concerned both about the last promises of Mr Lunatic in the US (i.e $200 billions tariff against China) and the Fed decision on the 25 of September and the potential negative impact on silver.
I would like to retire too from stocks and share, but will try to patiently wait on the side lines, following a market crush and consequent opportunities to recoup some of the money lost in the last 8 years on commodities. As I said for me share dealing has meant only share loosing, but hopefully if we have repeat of commodities boom I might be able to cover some of my losses. ALTVB

I share your same views about the The China tariffs. Mining shres re currently going down as the market believes that Mr Trump will actually sign, after all he has a good track record to do what he is saying he is going to do.
I suspect that if the $200bn China tariff document is not going to be sign there will be a good bounce back.

Great timing to get back in at 219....not Most of the times I feel optimistic about silver, but then when I look at days like today reality sinks in and the silver for the foreseeable future will always be controlled and manipulated down by JPM. They have cornered the silver market and they use the futures to drop down the price and to buy the physical metal on the cheap. I just wonder is JPM accumulating all this silver on the cheap for the US government and it is used to make bombs (somewhere I read that 500 ounces of silver are needed in missiles) or at some stages when they have cornered even more the price of silver they will let it go to make some dosh ? I also wonder how in the UK we have the competition watchdog set up to prevent monopoly (latest example Sainsbury and ASDA) and why there is no watchdog authority in the world to prevent one bank to control the most important industrial metal out there?

Good to see you here mate. Fed meeting next week on the 12th. If I am not mistaken next week there is also the decision of the ECB if continue printing money beyond October or not. Increased rates from the states is alsmost a given, perpahs Mario Drghi will stop buying bonds next week.

Two days ago in the morning the share dropped to 195 for a very shrt amount of time and then back to 220. I wonder if that is a sign of where they want to push the share price. BTW on ADVFN board i read that the JPM criminals put target of Neutral of HOC at 185. Does anybody have a link to veify if this is actually true ?

I suspect one reason is the general drop of stocks before the G7 affecting most metal shares, the second double whammy is due to the RNS, in the last two months Vanguard sold a lot of shares I just wonder what do they know that we do not know ?

In my humble opinion the suppression of silver by the dark force will continue for a while, at least until interest rates are going up (by the way, this trend does not make any sense to me). If that is the case with a less valuable commodity even if extraction cost would remain the same HOC would make less profits. In the case of HOC, construction cost seems to have increased making things even worse. This means that in order to keep the profits and reduce the debt they need to extract more silver that is sold at a lower price. Doing so HOC is depleting its own resources without making the profits it was expecing to do when the commodity price were much higher. This means also, that when the price of silver will finally go up HOC will have less valuable resource to make some good profits.

For Trump does not seem to go away. Is a president impichment possible ? What would do that to the dollar. I suspect that both the action of Trump and the Fed will prove to be the beginning of the end for the dollar.

At school i learnt that silver was the best electric and thermal conductor out there with lots of industrial uses. In my older age i also learnt that silver was real money rather than fiat currency. How can it be that silver does not shine, does the financial world actually know that dirt is actually more valuable than silver ?

Probably MW decided to close some of their shorts, best time could when everyone is selling because PM are going down, just a theory.... By the way I followed your advice of last week where you said on the 22nd the share price would reach around 245, i think you defintely know your charts. What is interesting is that even the usual PM Friday manipulation from the commercial banks have barely affected the share price of HOC, giving me another reason that this share is in the process of being re-rated and why not frankly the Pablo veins will increase the amount of silver prduced by the company hopefully for quite a few years to come :-)

I am betting that MW is closing some of their short positions on HOC as a result of the good news yesterday of Pablo mining + no more unexpected bad news from the macroeconomics, we all know that the Fed are going to increase interest rates in December, we already know that Mario Draghi will reduce stimulus and that the bank of England has raised interests rates but it will likely stay at the windows to see if they have done a mistake or not. This means that MW need to buy back and the price will be inevitably go higher. What you can do is not to sell for a while as they need your shares to close their short and you can gain easy dosh. Please note this is only my guess and is not more than a guess havig said this I am more than happy to bet my money on it. DYR and GLA

around 16.50. It would be great if those were real buys, hopefully marshall-wace reducing their short positions even more...
