RE: Full letter from the FCA11 May 2021 17:08
That letter actually gives me more confidence.
My concern was something materially changed with the proposed SoA or the FCA didn't like the way Amigo contacted customers or something along those lines.
However, they mention nothing that would suggest that's the case.
It appears nothing has changed with the SoA, other than the FCA now actively objecting to the SoA, despite it being approved by the court and the FCA previously stating they won't stand in the way.
This just seems like gross incompetence from the outside. We actually now have the overwhelming majority voting in favour of the SoA. Not just some conjecture.
Rationally thinking, I think it's highly unlikely the judge will reject the SoA. The more pressing question is will the judge suggest the SoA needs to be adjusted to be more favourable to creditors?
