After so many years of buying and holding here with the potential of various projects coming and going, I think finally we are on the home straight. Really looking forward to the next couple of weeks. The prospect of being an 'example' project with other sites up for auction can only further the potential of SAV on top of an already exciting/lucrative Mina project.
We have also be promised an 'plan' moving forward for Moz before the year end. Looking forward to a prosperous Christmas. Oops did I mention the c word...ahhhhh
Absolutely... but historically can I remind you 'Portugal environmental resource website between 2008-18, 95% of EIA were deemed 'favourable' some with condition'
With the EU 'need' for Li and the ecomomic need within Portugal, even I who is pretty cautious I cannot see that 95% approval is what I would call a 'done deal' - only a few weeks will tell...........
There is a lot more to talk about and update on other than just Portugal.... just saying!
As a LTH who is ignored by the BOD, I am getting pretty pis....f. It doesn't sit well, but been here too long to bail at a fairly key junction for the company.
Total process without the PC delays was timetabled to take 140 days. I can't recall exactly how many days the PC was delayed but I thought it was about 6/8 weeks? Process began 01/06/21, but the most important 'approval' 1st stage I would estimate now due about mid Oct'ish.
Activity Expected process duration (working days)
Outcome
EIA and MP approval ~80i
APA issues Environmental Impact Declaration ('DIA')
RECAPE approval ~60
APA issues the environmental conformity of the detailed design project declaration ('DCAPE')
Environmental License Approval
APA issues a single environmental title ('TUA')
Total ~140
Climate change is ringing loud and clear from ever corner of the world, the biggest impact is the use of fossil fuels. Renewable energy and storage is only going in one direction. At present Li is the best answer for storage, we know we have a high quality resource that is EU local.

looking at Portugal environmental resource website between 2008-18, 95% of EIA were deemed 'favourable' some with conditions, SAV have put together an excellent submission with great care taken to local and environmental issues, I can only see this going one way in the very near future. With a large holding I have been reluctant to have too many eggs in one basket, but finally can't resist topping up.. GLA
so I guess that means nobody has found any info on PC like myself? Bit frustrating, would be nice to see arguements pro and against, these are generally easily available for all UK development applications. Since the EU is such a wonderful democartic society??? I would have thought all motions would be available for scutiny!
Has anybody been able to find any info about positive / negative submissions? I would have thought upon closure the info would be publicly available but not had any joy when searching? I would have hoped we were more than a 50:50 bet Holtender as the area already has a mining licence and the economic demands in Portugal must surely take advantage of their resource? It has been a very long haul with this company and still frustrated about lack of info coming about Moz, at least we know the process ahead for Portugal.
Can someone refresh my memory to what the new date on closure was? I've got 18th July in my head but can't locate the info easily. Thanks. Tick Tock after so long hopefully things might get moving (inc sp) very soon.
must say after so many years being here, don't think I have ever seen so many large buy/sells. Are we finally getting more attention... always we seem to have sneeked under the radar but perhaps we are being seen? Still feeling positive :-)
Not sure what is going on, however, lets not forget DA and board have a very substantial share holding, whatever 'value loss' we might be feeling theirs is considerably more! I for one, with the asset held, believe they will be looking to maximise the sp both for us and themselves asap. Li is hot hot hot at the moment, I am quite sure we will have many interested parties knocking at the door, I am also quite sure Portugal won't want to miss out on the party.
