I think some alignment might be taking place. Finally after so many years I believe we are on the cusp of owning a share of a company that not only is going to reap us rewards but also help with the removal of reliance on carbon burning fuels and crippling Russia at the same time. God bless and help all those poor souls in ????
Surely the acceleration of using renewables means this project has got to get moving very soon and all the bureaucracy will get fast tracked? Certainly one would hope so and expect so. I had expected a major move forward in Q1 anyway, but this unprovoked war and humanitarian disaster must concentrate EU endevours to remove reliance on Russia.
Portugal’s long-awaited lithium licensing auction could be launched within two months after an environmental assessment gave the green light to mining the metal in six areas, the government said on Wednesday.
That was start of Feb.... so now we are only about 30 days away from the auctions, with the increased pressure to move away from gas/oil we must be due news very soon. They can't possible proceed with the auctions whilst SAV is being held in limbo.
Most car manufacturers have already committed to EV's, reducing ICE to a small ever decreasing niche. Just like flat screen TV's the tech advances and uptake will be and is already proving exponential.
Li is and will be for many years to come, the way forward for energy storage. I just can't see Portugal missing this opportunity, with less than 60 days to the other tenaments come up for auction, we must be expecting positive news very soon.
with the tenament auctions approaching within 60 days, all these issues have to be resolved very quickly. Lets not forget SAV have already been praised for their approach/ attention to details during the current mining application process. Just wish I had delayed my most recent top up by 24 hrs! Hey ho, drop in the ocean compared to my overall holding.
Yep CM, couldn't resist a few more myself... unhealthy amount invested here but never been sleeping easier. Can only see one way for the SP in the near future, more concerned about timing some sell off, probably sell off about 25% when we hit 10p the rest will all then be profit.
I guess after the flurry of buys/ sells for the last couple of weeks peeps have decided lets just see what happens in Portugal. Nothing is guanteed but the election call was probably a curve ball DA hadn't been expecting.
SAV have not a lot to fall back on if things don't work out, and work out fairly quickly they must if the EU is to get the supply of raw material they so desparately need.
Little point in a refinery without raw material..
