I wonder if following the death of Manohar Pundalik Shenoy, the family have been selling off his interest? Who know what might be their position? Just a thought.

Looking at the time stamp I would say almost certainly both transactions are buys, which raises a couple of questions, I must confess to be surprised that there was that amount of liquidity available and also why the sp has dropped as a result? Could this just be institutional buys as someone has finally seen the value here? There are a lot of sticky fingers here so liquidity must become a factor and could result in very fast sp movement on news.

Because lets face it otherwise you would cry! I honestly believe SAV must be the hardest stock to hold on AIM. Just when you finally think the corner has been turned, DIA approved, de-risked what happens.. the sp drops right back and another (hopefully ridiculous) lawsuit starts. When I started buying here I hardly had a grey hair, well now I would like to think silver fox, but lets be realistic! One day Rodney, one day...

New Brexit trade rules covering electric vehicles could cost European manufacturers £3.75bn over the next three years, an industry body has said.

The rules are meant to ensure that EU-produced electric cars are largely made from locally sourced parts.

But manufacturers on both sides of the Channel say they are not ready.

The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) also warned the measures could reduce output from EU factories by 480,000 vehicles.

And they said customers would pay the price.

The main problem lies in so-called "rules of origin" which come into force in January. They apply to shipments of cars across the Channel under the terms of the Brexit deal, the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement.

They will effectively ensure that electric vehicles will need to have batteries produced in either the UK or the EU.

It actually only implies a sale process is not currently taking place, it doesn't say discussions haven't be made nor any on going talks are taking place. Might be absolutely conjecture, but then again there might be some smoke!

Well I think we are in for a very interesting run up to Christmas.

As they say there is no smoke with fire, and all factors considered I tend to agree this isn't just a random rumour, there must be something behind it. Will be interesting to see how things play out. However, reassuring to hear board feeling they have a strong hand to play, so no cheap deal about to take place. New CEO gonna have hands pretty full from day 1.

Sounds like a green light for the tenement auctions to be started. Perhaps the Gov have finally found the accelerator. Going to be very interesting over the next few months, tempted to top up again but having a very substantial holding I don't want to be too weighty here, its just so tempting. Decisions, decisions..

Possibly? Been here so long now got grey chest hairs, but I consider SAV to be seriously under valued considering the resource, its quality and location - not to mention its demand. We are derisked, things can only get better and I believe as new flows that might be sooner rather than later.

Salve, I was just thinking about this the other day, does anybody know if the mine is actually active at present? Are we actually accruing any income from feldspar/quartz? Has the mine been continually active, even whilst exploration / DIA has been being processed?

An ethos definitely shared by SAV and their DIA, this really would appear to be the perfect play for Aethel. My 'disappointed' thread threw out some interesting thoughts/ info, so now on reflection I am not so disappointed but actually quite hopeful that a value offers may come to the table. I sympathise with Narwonah it has been a long rollercoaster ride for me too and perhaps Dale can finally reward our stubbornness.

Might prove to be an interesting coming week. Summer lethargy coming to an end and if there is any truth to the rumours, perhaps an indication of what value they are coming in at. Either they are being very serious (few other opportunities available) and will want to make a serious offer or they will dip their toe with a cheeky first offer. I think, after a bit of research, they might actually be looking very seriously at their options here and we might be pleasantly surprised. This last quarter is going to be crammed with news, intrigue and hopefully reward. Don't stray too far from the news, could be coming thick and fast. GLA

I would say we are pretty derisked, but still reasonably long journey until production, but all the little ducklings are lining up nicely, so I would be very sad to see a takeover at anything less than 20p minimum. Remember we must also be front runners for other tenements when auction finally comes up, and with ever increasing demand SAV experience to get DIA is invaluable. I'm quite sure Dale won't sell us or himself out... although he may be tempted to take big payment and accept position with new company, so may not push too hard for best deal?

After so many years invested here, this is the last thing I wanted to hear. Sold off cheap before we have the opportunity realise gains from hard work achieved. I can't see a decent premium being paid from such a low current SP. Time will tell..

Yes IB - I keep looking out for notification of auctions but nothing to be found as yet, must be stuck at the bottom of paperwork pile. But not a worry as the world burns and floods at least the bureaucrats can enjoy their expensed lunches with wine.

Been away for a few days and just checked in to see if anything had been happening.... well, what can I say. CM 100% agree far better option than GALP deal. I do seem to recall we were promised no further dilution, but at that level and if it funds rapid progression I can only see it as a positive, as obviously do the markets. Onwards and upwards.
