Zenith has announced record oil production revenue in April of $505/- and an operational update from the Zardab field in Azerbaijan. The Z-21 workover is going to require a bigger rig owing to a change in the tubing diameter. The advantage of the bigger rig will be that it will be able to drill deeper and into the Eocene formation although should the Maykop formation be commercial one suspects it will stop there. In the meantime the ESP installation upgrade work continues in the Muradkhanli and Jafarli oilfields and following this work 12 pumps will have been installed. Operationally, despite expected pitfalls, work in country is continuing to exceed expectations and there is significant basis for optimism.

It’s pretty simple, tried to do it with our own equipment to save costs, was worth a go. The oil is there just a bit more waiting.

And at least the POO has gone our way and helped in generating record revenues to cover our costs. This a steep learning curve, head down and let’s march on.

Agreed. We are all tested to our limits by seeing the share price at its lows whilst oil is at $80, very frustrating, but a bit of luck now could set Zen alight. Remember Palmer commented in the last operational RNS on the 8th May as follows, which give us all the strength required to stay put: “It has been a long journey to arrive at where we are at now. Our understanding of the field and its vast potential is increasing day by day. Z-21 has the potential to be the most significant operation for the Company since it began operations in Azerbaijan. We are working day and night to achieve the resounding success we all deserve. I look forward to reporting on our progress in due course."

Very good indeed. Clearly he knows that either Casa or Zamsort on their own could be worth a multiple and smartly has decided to sell non core assets. Great CEO to have with a clear strategy and incredibly experienced.

I agree with you when you talk about the board and was not convinced at all by the previous board and random strategy across various assets. The new CEO has in a few months with his know how turned the company around and taken control of the two assets where he sees the greatest short to medium term shareholder reward. In my opinion some have not grasped yet that OTC is a thing of the past and ARCM is a new company with an incredibly experienced CEO. Let’s enjoy the conference call.

Hold a reasonable position and personally would not sell out at this level when we all know that the stock could bag a few times post positive drill result and in any case will be higher than we are now pre spud.

I like their statement: highly exciting Zamsort copper-cobalt project acquisition. Couldn’t agree more, they know this is the asset with the greatest short term upside potential.

Sensible to me ie focus on huge Azeri assets and complete Indonesian deal only if numbers add up and can be funded with some debt after a rating has been achieved to reduce interest rate. Focus back to Azerbaijan now.

SPOT we all know that there could be some churning around any placing but you are missing the key point here ie Zamsort is an incredible asset. Our CEO has a clear plan for ARCM and he is delivering on his strategy, only a fool couldn’t see that. I’m on the idea that the transaction is massive and ARCM’s rerate is just at the beginning.

I think this transaction is transformational for ARCM. Time will tell but this could the next asiamet in the making. Let’s sit back and wait.
